Poll should be: What day will Colson break the single season strikeout record?

Or what will be higher, his batting average or his strikeout total. The thing that is bothering me is for a guy who whiffs as much as he does, usually on a high fastball, he seems perplexed as to how it could possibly happen. 17 games he has fanned at least 3 times, 5 golden sombreros.

Sox are in first place, this sure beats shoveling snow.

As bad as Mune and Colson have been, one or both of them will heat up at some point. Running off 8 out of 10 somewhere soon would certainly ease tension and I do think they are bound for a hot spell at some point.....even with the starting pitching as thin as it is.

Yes, but expecting a 2020-ish playoff performance. This team is in desperate need of SP options it doesn't have right now.

Sure, they'll make the playoffs. Remember, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!

It depends if their key players continue to perform well and not slump. But Colson has got to break out of his slump and start advancing baserunners. I'm nervous now but still optimistic they will make it

Yes. There is no indication the White Sox will do what the Tigers did last year.

The Tigers also had the ability to push the Mariners to the limit...does anyone actually foresee them winning a playoff series?

I voted no, obviously I've been saying this for a month now

if they do make the playoffs, it'll be because they were just the least bad team that limps in

it isnt controversial to say that they just don't have the pitching right now to make a serious run at anything

I also don't buy the argument of "just make it in, it's a crap shoot". maybe for teams with more veterans with experience, and a decent starting rotation, this team unfortunately has neither

I also admit that my predictions are often straight horse s%*# and based 100% on whatever gut feeling I have that particular day 🤔
