The thing that is bothering me is for a guy who whiffs as much as he does, usually on a high fastball, he seems perplexed as to how it could possibly happen. 17 games he has fanned at least 3 times, 5 golden sombreros. Tuesday at 04:37 PM4 days As bad as Mune and Colson have been, one or both of them will heat up at some point. Running off 8 out of 10 somewhere soon would certainly ease tension and I do think they are bound for a hot spell at some point.....even with the starting pitching as thin as it is.
Tuesday at 04:45 PM4 days Yes, but expecting a 2020-ish playoff performance. This team is in desperate need of SP options it doesn't have right now.
Tuesday at 04:49 PM4 days Sure, they'll make the playoffs. Remember, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!
Tuesday at 05:22 PM4 days It depends if their key players continue to perform well and not slump. But Colson has got to break out of his slump and start advancing baserunners. I'm nervous now but still optimistic they will make it

Tuesday at 06:13 PM4 days I voted no, obviously I've been saying this for a month nowif they do make the playoffs, it'll be because they were just the least bad team that limps init isnt controversial to say that they just don't have the pitching right now to make a serious run at anythingI also don't buy the argument of "just make it in, it's a crap shoot". maybe for teams with more veterans with experience, and a decent starting rotation, this team unfortunately has neitherI also admit that my predictions are often straight horse s%*# and based 100% on whatever gut feeling I have that particular day 🤔
Tuesday at 06:59 PM4 days Too early to tell. I need more insight into how the starting rotation shakes out in the next 10 days and to see how they fair in the continuing SWEEP THE CENTRAL campaign. If the rotation starts to stabilize and they perform well in the upcoming 6 games against Minny, all signs will point to YES. If they do not see life in the rotation and fall to the Twinkies… all signs will flash NO.Though, I could still see a middle ground where this division is decided in the final week with shades of 2005 coming into play.Bottom line: GO SOX!

There is going to be an extremely flawed team in the ALCS this year. Why not us?

Tuesday at 07:30 PM4 days Cleveland has two big things going for them right now, a ridiculously easy schedule and a solid pitching staff.

Tuesday at 07:50 PM4 days Just took a look and here are the last 14 day batting avg and ops of some hitters:Ant. .208/.604Mune .140/.643C Mont .177/.497B Mont. .229/.694Meidroth .216/.606Call it a team slump or guys pressing but it isn't just one player. Maybe the old, guys trying to hit 6 run homers.

Tuesday at 09:08 PM4 days Nobody here is ready for the Luis Robert waiver claim that reignites the lineup once he reunites with his pals Vargas and Colson

If you're grabbing him to be a 4th OF/platoon CF. You just pay him for the last month. Can be your 27th/28th man when rosters expand. Edited Tuesday at 09:10 PM4 days by Bob Sacamano
Tuesday at 10:08 PM4 days Does any other team have two left handed hitters who will hit 30 home runs? my point stands as to the problems this team poses in October

Then there are the Royals - the turd sandwich.
