Are people aware of what Sandlin did for Charlotte last night? Seven shut out innings with 9 strike outs against a good Redbirds team. I say bring him up and find a blister on Burke’s finger to rest him are for two weeks.

A lot of tired arms. Go with a six man rotation: Kay, Fedde, Martin, Burke, Castillo, and Thorp or Sandlin. If Castillo throws another stinker, find a blister on one of his fingers too, probably until next season.

To tell you the truth I would feel better starting Thorp or Sandlin than tired-arm Burke.

It will be interesting to see what they do on the 1st. Will they bring up a position player or will it be all pitchers added. I think Sandlin will be up for sure.

I’m a big Thorp fan; I think he has outstanding potential. I use to argue with the people on here who would say we lost or got nothing in the Cease trade.

But with that said, with the division on the line, I would go with Sandlin and not mess with Thorp right now. Everything now has to be on winning the division.

I wish they could add more than one pitcher because ideally, I would like to see Noah get another chance. I know his last appearance was awful, but I see his potential and hate to see it go to waste. Realistically, I know he had his chances, but that last appearance where Venable screwed up by making a second visit to the mound still bothers me. I know he was in trouble, but what a sh1tty way of betting removed from a game and then being demoted.

Thorpe and Sandlin will get shots before Noah this year IMO. Thorpe is about ready, and Sandlin absolutely dominated last night.

Kid is from my hometown so I couldn’t root for him harder, but he’s not ready to face MLB hitters. It’s not just that his stuff isn’t there yet, he’s not there mentally, either. He’s way too amped on the mound so the game is running 1000mph in his head. That last start, you could just feel his adrenaline through the screen….wide-eyed and twitchy. I’m convinced Will saw it, too, and intentionally went out to the mound to pull him immediately as soon as that adrenaline proved to be affecting his pitching. He didn’t feel he had time to wait for someone to warm in the pen.

If the Sox have a contract offer to Mune he should probably sign it ASAP.

I think if Mune didn’t get hurt, he might have more Ks than Colson.

Those 2 need to cut this crap out.
