I know why they have it. Because if you don't have it, the batter can game the pitch clock and make the pitcher rush on every pitch by not stepping into the box until there's 1 second left in the clock.

I mean I could see his use as a defensive replacement and to give a spell to the other OFers but he's hardly ever competitive at the plate. He's even more lost than Mune lol Mune at least gets on base via the walk, Doyle is a K machine

Does anyone wonder how Mune’s is drawing so many walks. He’s batting under .100 the last couple weeks or so. Just throw it down the middle of the plate until he starts to heat up some.

.103 xBA for the Astros in this game. Sox pitching did very well. A ball that would be about 5 steps in front of the warning track in Chicago is all they got.

The scouting reports will catch up if he keeps missing on pitches in the zone like he has been.

Because none of these pitchers want to be the guy to wake his bat up, so they are being extra careful

It has seemed like this for a few weeks, direct correlation to our pitchers being unable to last to the fifth
