Sox just need to avoid a sweep in Cleveland, and their chances of winning the division are very high. A sweep gives Cleveland 3 games in the standings, plus the tiebreaker. Essentially, 3.5 games gai

Martin's pitch mix is finally looking good again.

So he no look dropped it? Damn he's good.

He absolutely did that on purpose. You can see him pull his glove away at the last second.

No, he took his eye off it. I think one of his teammates asked him if he dropped it on purpose as he was running in, and he said no. I’m pretty confident he did not drop it on purpose.

Hot damn

Wow Martin looked a lot better those last two batters

Man getting Davis back into form would be HUGE

Only a magician could pull that off.

Davis is back. Burke is back.

martin still living right in the middle of the zone

That wasn’t his problem before. He was missing his spots and then when he was behind in the count they were killing him when he was forced to come to the zone. Right now his control looks great which is letting him compete inside the zone

That would be great.

How much money has Correa collected on the IL?

Geez…nightmare of a contract and why the Giants originally bailed

So far he looks like a completely different pitcher. If he can go 6 or 7 and blank these fucks - it would be the best development for our team in months.

We need an ace and he’s shown the ability. Getting Ace Martin back would be fucking MASSIVE. Big enough for me to temporarily forget how much I despise the ASSBLOWS.

My conspiracy theory is there was no blister

Upon further review, looks like Altuve didn't drop it on purpose but he's still a cheating dickhead

Great work by Davis

Yeah he was checking if he could get the DP on Beni. The location he was catching it would have been super risky to take your eye off and drop on purpose because it could have gone behind him and everyone is safe. I thought it was pretty obviously not purposeful when seeing the replay.

I want to see Burkey run it up to 97 - 98 before I call him back.

It also helped when he was throwing 96-97 pretty consistently

Well Cleveland is gonna lose, that one is a wrap 9-0 in the 7th now Jays.

Just like when they said he was tipping his pitches.

Teams are always shocked when Kay brings that velo from LH side

His velocity has never been very consistent from start to start.

Whatever his issue truly was(I think fatigue) it affected his control, his velocity, and his results
