That kid Esmerlyn Valdez is going to be very very good. He took a pitch that a lot of hitters want to pull for a HR and he did exactly what a pull hitter would do, he pulled his hands in but he inside outed his swing instead of getting the barrel out front and still barrelled it up to go oppo taco.

OK Sox time to wake up and get some runs. Golden opportunity to gain a game on a couple teams.

Just such bad contact last ten days or so

Watching on gameday, none of those pitches to Teel were in the strike zone

Just brutal offensively. Aside from a few games here and there, particularly against the Twins, this offense absolutely stinks. No ability to come back in games, no clutch hitting, not putting enough pressure on pitchers.

Someone posted that theyre a bottom 5 offense since the ASB and that seems to track.
