This team is toast. They had a good run, but the offense is regressing hard and the pitchers are hitting a wall. It's over for this squad. Gotta hope some of our players rebound next year, and this isn't who they actually are.

I don't think Getz is bringing up either Sandlin or Thorpe. He's got that option but I just don't think he's doing it.

No more or less far fetched as an idea that could potentially work than bringing up say….Hagan Smith

I'll say that is one of the most shocking things this seasoning. Watched him pitch just before being called up and my son and I said he really looks awful and is a bust. Them he does this which is just miraculous. So you never know when it clicks in baseball. ERA was almost 5 in AAA and a 1.35 ratio.

Hopefully he can carry this into starting next year, because we need A LOT of starters innings.
