Roch will save us from Kolson, the sooner the better

I wouldn't be surprised if Colson is traded and Meidroth plays short and Ant plays second base next year.

This team is allergic to hitting with runners on base. It is sad

Colson - Yikes!

4 hits against this pitching staff: double yikes!

That’s what I think, Meidroth would do fine at SS but other changes are needed, Home Runs are great but you can’t have a one dimensional offense, you need to make contact and win with base hits.

It wasn't boring until September hit.

True, but this is the time of year that separates the pretenders from the contenders.

That would be a horrible defensive middle infield.

Colson isn't going anywhere, if he was a butcher then I could maybe see it but he plays good enough SS for them to keep him around. plus it's hard to replace 32/85+ in the lineup while also hurting you defensively, it's looking more likely that Murakami leaves after 27, and they just move Vargas to 1B, Colson to 3B, Roch to SS, Bonemer to OF/DH/3B, and they just rock a rotating DH (that's my hunch)

Roch needs to be the SS after next year, he has much better range and a better arm than CM

2025 Colson was hitting oppo though, and hitting home runs too. This version of Kolson pulling everything and striking out a ton is infuriating.

I would still try to get Colson to be 2025 Colson instead of 2026 Kolson for 2027. If Roch is who he is projected to be and Mune continues to be trash, Colson can move to third, Miggy to first and Mune back to Japan. If both Mune and Colson make comebacks, that's a great problem to have and the Sox would have options to move someone for needs.

I don’t care if Grichuk has never played first base in his f%%%^ing life, I’d play him there instead of Mune, or put him in the outfield in place of B-Mont. his veteran bat needs to be in the lineup!

If he was in for Mune he would play LF and Sam would play 2B, Chase at SS, Colson at 3B, Vargas at 1B. I would like to see that lineup against none strikeout heavy right handers. We face Gavin Williams this series and Randal should not be in the lineup

Failure once again to get a runner in at 3rd with no outs doomed us again, along with Murakami hitting cleanup and failing with RISP.

Good option. Also Mune should not have been hitting cleanup up. Venable roster construction continues to be terrible.

Baseball is a weird game. A team is cold until they aren't. Nobody knows when the "aren't" is going to come but I guess it could be tomorrow. We had better hope.

We all know how this is going to play out. The stinking Guardians know how to win when it counts. Look what they did down the stretch last year to overcome the stinking Tigers. You know Kwan and Ramirez will both go 9 for 14 in the next 3.

Need to send the memo of not letting Ramirez beat us.

They could get hot the last 10 games considering who they are playing but they have to win a game in Cleveland. Cleveland is under .500 at home so we will see.

I mean, one constant all year is that theyve played well against their own division and have more or less handled all 4 teams pretty much in every series, theyre 2-0-1 in 3 series vs cleveland

3 for 29 with RISP this series

They just keep getting worse

It's not like aren't creating opportunities

Chokers, sadly no other way to put it

Keep swinging for the fences when small ball would do.

Newcomb opening tomorrow for Burke.

The Sox batted with the bases loaded 17 times in their last 14 games (4-10 record) and were 1-for-13 with four walks.

Home run or nothing...LOL.

Monday Newcomb/Burke vs. TBD

Tues Davis Martin vs Gavin Williams

Wed Kay or Fedde vs. Messick

if Thorpe doesn't start one of those games, Getz should be dragged

Why would you want Thorpe against all those lefties? Let Kay go Wednesday with Hagen as opener.

it’s going to be awkward this weekend when Colson and Mune get booed by the home crowd if things continue this way
