Venable really has a ton of patience - I’ve given him a lot of rope as a second year manager who is navigating a competitive team for the first time… But I really have no idea why he refuses to pull contact guys from his bench in big spots - especially since doing so last night won the game.

Where's Kenny flipping tables in the club house when you need him.

I'd be more pissed about this if the Bears didn't put up the greatest offensive season opener of all time.

4 measly hits and 9 Ks. These guys just can’t make contact especially in key situations. What a shame they couldn’t hold on to the win for Sandlin.

Sandlin should be in the rotation the rest of the season at least, now just call up Thorpe and you might have actually fixed this issue for the most part

If you takeaway Colsons home runs he's hitting less than .200. He can't catch a simple ground ball today and it cost the team a game. Unless he hits a home run he is useless.

Also Thorpe being called up vs that Cleveland lineup works out in his favor imo

Thorpe should of been called up 2 weeks ago
