It would be so much different if the first half and second half were flipped and if Mune and Colson were progressing instead of imploding.

They need to get runners on against Cade Smith. They've gotten to him before this year, and I think he tilts a bit if he lets guys on.

Agree. Too many walks by our pitchers, and two many strike outs from our hitters have been killing us.

This team is wearing down here at the end. I think Mune is gassed, and his injury didn't help. Colson is also probably wiped. I don't think either guy is as bad as they look right now.

That goes for the team as a whole, too. They're not this bad. However, I don't think they're a particularly good team, either. They're exciting when they play well and frustrating as hell when they play bad.

Even with a loss today, they'll still have a good chance to make the playoffs, due in large part to a pretty meh AL. Limping into the playoffs and playing ball like this will lead to a very quick and depressing exit.

If the Sox lose today, they will have the same record Cleveland has right now. 4 home games vs. Detroit, 3 away vs. KC and 3 at home vs. Col, with the tie breaker, they are still looking pretty if they can start playing decently.
