18 hours ago18 hr With 10 games left and the possibility that Kolson could be out for the rest of the regular season who do we want out at shortstop everyday? It comes down to Meidroth or Acuna. I say we go with Meidroth with Ant taking over 2B and Grichuk in LF. Give it a try for at least the Detroit series and if it doesn’t work out they can finish the season with Acuna.
18 hours ago18 hr You can't play Acuna regularly. It would have to be Meidroth and Ant unless you want to call up Bonemer

18 hours ago18 hr If Colson is day to day then Chase at SS, Sam at 2nd, If Colson get put on the IL I would think Rikuu would get called up.
17 hours ago17 hr Colson is day to day. I'm sure he will sit for a couple of days as an excuse to give him a breather.

16 hours ago16 hr Any interesting veterans in the minor leagues of any teams that we can trade cash considerations for? Or sign or claim anyone who was DFA’d? At least for a backup spot?I’d roll with Chase at SS, Ant at 2B, Grich in LF with Acuna and Doyle as late inning subs
15 hours ago15 hr Is it a serious possibility that Colson will be out for any significant time? All I heard was that his X-rays were negative and he’s bruised up.That doesn’t sound like a situation that will take him out for any considerable time.If we do have to walk that path… you put Chase at short and Psycho Sam at second. If they had balls, they’d give Bonemer a cup of coffee.

Nothing is broken according to the X-rays, so pretty much it is when the swelling and pain goes away and Colson is comfortable. Could be today, could be a week.
