So far it looks like the Cardinals have turned another scrub into gold and his name is The Amazing Aaron Miles.

Looks like his streak could be over unless he gets one more AB.

Rowand batting second today = brutal.  He's 0 for 4 with 3 K's.

Good. This streak is bogus anyway.

Phils go 1-2-3 in the 8th...they will need to get 2 baserunners against Izzy in the 9th for Rollins to get another at bat.

How so

How so

Because I don't consider 5 months off in between games 36 and 37 an actual streak.

Fair enough, but also it could be harder in the sense that you are no longer in a zone or hot.

True.

2 outs in the 9th.

The next 2 hitters need to get on for Rollins to have a chance.

2 outs, Lieberthal and Delucci both have to get on against Izzy for Rollins to hit again.

And Rollins's hit streak is over.

Cards sweep - Rollins streak over.

f***, I love Rollins

Nooooooo. A great run though.

Noah Lowry left the Giants game today after 1.2 innings.

That streak is never going down. Too damn hard to do with all things considered.

I would like to say I'm a big fan of this Mets team.

Go Blue Jays! 2-1 over the Twins in the 4th inning now.

Torotno has taken a 6-2 lead going into the 7th. Beat up on Carlos Silva & Juan Rincon.

I think the Tigers are going to be much improved this year. Chris Shelton is tearing the cover off of the ball so far. He has 4 homers.

I could see them finishing third in the central.

Twinkies lose 6-3 to the Blue Jays.

They do have a lot of talent...but as usual, it's going to come down to pitching and injuries in the long run, and they may very well wind up lacking on both parts. Especially once they start facing the real quality pitching staffs of the Central.

Tigers rolling , looks like a 3-0 start for them.

Yeah not good for the Giants, he was argubly their best pitcher in the 2nd half last season.

Scott Rolen is certainly looking as if he hasn't missed a beat.  It's easy to forget that they basically won 100 games without him last year.  With him back healthy,  the NL central is pretty much spoken for.

This guy was the #1 hitter in the the first half of 2004 for fantasy leagues, and I've been gettin him in about the 9th-10th round. Definitely an excellent value pick right there if his shoulder can hold up.
