god dammit...

has anything bad happeneed this inning, my mlbtv blacked out.

Barfield got a single up the middle, but that was it. One K.

You should have gameday up as well as the game.

Jason Bere-my pick

He and Willie Alvarez were close to unbeatable the last few months of 1993. I remember there was a little controversy having Black Jack open the playoffs because those 2 and Alex Fernandez were throwing better than him at the time.

I'll take McCarthy from 2005 as the best 5th starter. And I think that Vazquez as a 5th starter last year put up better numbers than anyone we can have for the entire year.

McCarthy wasn't the fifth starter all year. He was a fill in. He sucked half his games; he excelled in his second half.

He was superb once he came back from the minors with his full set of pitches.

Nice play by Barfield.....we're so damn slow.
