Time To Shoot Off The Seamen

Your topic heading reminds me of this classic scene;

Stewie Griffin [singing] "I'm the greatest captain of the Queen's navy"

Sailors "And your record will stand as proof"

Stewie Griffin "Be it galley or a freighter, I'm an expert navigator"

Sailors "And you're also a world-class poof"

Stewie Griffin "My manner, quite effete, is mistaken on the street

Stewie Griffin "For a sailor who can pirouette on cue

Stewie Griffin "Despite your point of view, I can thrill a girl or two

Sailors "But I'd rather get it on with you"

But uh yes, go Sox. Maybe it's time to actually win a game.

count getting rocked in the 1st inning, everything hit is a line shot so far, has not retired anyone yet, 1-0 mariners with runners on 2nd and 3rd

edit: ichiro scores on a line shot to crede, runner holds at 2nd, sexson retired at 1st

2-0 mariners

Count seems to have settled down, need some fargin' offense off Jarrod fargin' Washburn

Are people still hitting him hard at all? 5 innings so far, only the 2 runs in the first, 5 SO, I don't think he's walked anyone since the 2nd inning.

Starting pitching is going to be sooooooooo bad this year. I like to believe it is only spring training and it does not count, but there is not even a sense of progress. And there I go again, b****ing, and all doom and gloom ...

Good thing it's only spring training.

It always makes me feel better to look at the starters spring era's from 2005:

Buerhle: 2.66

Garland: 6.12

Contreras: 7.04

Garcia: 6.41

Hernandez: 8.25

McCarthy: 3.79

You just can't tell until the season starts, the ball jumps in AZ.

Wow shocking, a lefty mauling us. The team is ready for the season.

You would think that the great Greg Walker could teach these guys to hit leftys at least a little bit. Or is the great Greg part of the problem?
