SI.com reporting it too.

So ends the Juan Uribe era.

They can get Crede soon and start becoming the White Sox West

$1 MILL if he makes the team it says. That's a pretty good deal considering he can give you well above average defense at 3 positions and when he's hot, he drives in big runs.

this may be the happiest day of my life.

gl to juanny

Whenever I will think of Juan Uribe, I will forever think about Game 4, Bottom of 9, 1 out. That catapult into the stands was nothing short of amazing coming from our own Taz Devil. If he had the name Jeter on the back of his jersey, that play alone might have got him an entire wing in the HOF. I will miss you Senor Juan, just not when you dip down below the Mendoza line. I don't blame you though, I know you think its warmer down there.

"Out! Out! A White Sox winner, and a world championship. The White Sox have won the World Series, and they're mobbing each other on the field!"

Thanks Juan. Really.

Why? Juan did a lot of good for the franchise. I'll miss him.

I criticized him a lot in his time here, but that's a good deal for the Giants.

His good defensive play will be missed.

I wish nothing but the best for Juan.

Good Luck Juan. You'll always be one of my fav's which is why i have a WS signed ball by you!

Being out of town I heard the Joe Buck version.

i liked juan, but am glad he is gone...he's horrid offensively...though he does have value in his glove...he played the best SS in chicago i've seen...including ozzie, royce clayton and valentin....either way, that last inning of the WS will never be forgotten, and even if don't want him on this years team, its always a little sad seeing a member of that 05 team go....only a few are left...buerhle, bobby, dye, konerko, AJ

Unfortunately I had no audio whatsoever....except for the large Sox contingent sitting near me cheering in the upper deck of Minute Maid. :)

Oakland already has that distinction.

Good luck to Juany. Don't win the Series or last year's division without him. Hate his bat, love his glove.

He is one of the only ones I need for the complete starting roster. He's never been to Soxfest (big surprise) did you meet him or ebay?

I'll miss him. One of my favorite Sox players...

I'll miss the cannon he calls a right arm. But it's good to move on.

That's not bad for a guy that can play 3 IF positions fairly well and has a little pop in his bat. I am a little shocked he couldn't at least get a guaranteed contract somewhere.

One of the dumbest hitters I've ever seen in my life, but when he had to fight for his job or bring in a run, he was there to do the job well. Good luck to Baby Berroa.

I hate you.

Juan was my favorite player the last couple seasons. He will be missed. Always just loved his attitude.

I'm going to miss Uribe, and I'm thankful for his time here and the part he played in bringing us a championship. But, it is just time to move on.
