Dye can't play tomorrow so we will see both Brian and Wise again.

Let's hope Brian won't play himself out of the CF role, because right now it looks like Scott will be our CF when Q comes back.

can't play tomorrow? it was a 2-day suspension and yesterday was game 1, today is game 2

Why can't he play tomorrow? It's a 2 game suspension.

Because at the time of day that post was made, people aren't always clear on what day it is.

I was up at 4 am and for me it was still Friday.

Sorry like Balta said I meant Dye couldn't play Saturday.

Ryan Spilborghs, why the hell not!

Only if we get Ian Stewart as part of the deal as well... ;)

In all seriousness though, I'd love to get Spilborghs. In fact, I wanted him a couple years ago. The guys mashes left handed pitching, and at least for this year, he could platoon with Pods in the leadoff spot. I'm not sure about his D though.

Speaking of the rockies, anyone see Garrett Atkins BA this year? It's below .200. and he's a career .291 hitter...

Brian's 2 for his last 24.

Pods on the other hand its hitting nearly .300.

Who would you start for a team struggling at the plate?

The way things are shaping up I rather take Podsednik and his ability to leadoff over Brian's glove in center field.

i dont really see that as a bad thing, pods is raking, and if BA is in center getz is our leadoff hitter again and i dont want that

Sadly Pods is the only thing close to a lead off hitter that the Sox have. There is no second choice at this point in time.

Should this team continue to fall, there is no reason to not bring up Danks and see what he could do as it could be no worse than Wise. I think it would be hard ot be any worse than Wise.

We'd either have to really suck for this to happen, or Danks needs to blow our sucks off in the minors, both are very possible.

sounds pornographic
