Things I shouldn't have written.

Jinx Balta strikes again!

Ubaldo Jimenez has an ERA+ of 572. Um, I think that's somewhat good.

What an asshole!

To be fair he gave it to his own kid lol

A 3-year-old girl's skull was fractured after being hit by a line drive during batting practice at Dodger Stadium.

A Dodgers spokesman says the injury is not life-threatening and the girl is scheduled to be operated on Tuesday morning at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. PDT Monday when Dodgers catcher Russell Martin hit a line drive down the left field line.

Eek

Let me just say that I am ecstatic with the amount of great young talent in the bigs right now. We have so many thing to look forward too:

Stephen Strasburg

Mike Stanton

Jason Heyward

Wade Davis

Brian Matusz

Neftali Feliz

Bryce Harper

This on top of guys like Lincecum, Ubaldo, Longoria.

Oh, and hopefully Gordon Beckham.

This is the influx of talent we've been waiting for.

Thank god most of those guys you listed are in the NL. I'll be jizzing when Strasburg K's 10+ against the Cubs every year.

Already beat you to it, son (at least when it comes to pitching). http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76729

This is an amazing time to be a baseball fan (although a s***ty time to be a Sox fan). I'm just glad none of these guys are on the Cubs or anybody from our division.

I'm used to Mauer. I was thinking "new wave" guys. Austin Jackson is nice. But not as nice as some of those others stars or soon to be stars.

Talk about a guy getting no pub. A solid .817 OPS. He's also played a pretty good 1B going by the metrics.

I have no idea how anybody hits in that park. BTW, two more highly ranked guys called up today. Tabata for the Pirates, and Arrieta for the Orioles.

Buster Posey with only 3 k's through his first 40 PAs and 6 multi-hit games in 11 starts.

2/4 so far today. He's currently hitting .455. That, my friends, is what you call instant impact.

Dontrelle Willis' line from today: 4 IP, 6 BB, 3 H, 2 R, 2 WP, 2 BK

4 IP, walking 6, with 2 WPs, 2 balks, 3 hits and 2 runs.

I guess a return to AAAA can't even save Willis.
