Well, Napoli has been very good but has never played a full season, so that's a down notch on him. The closest he came, he struck out 137 times in 453 at bats last year, hitting .238 on the full season, .784 OPS. Flowers certainly has the ability to put up those sort of numbers...hell, he could actually outdo that on the power numbers based on what I saw...but the key is making contact. A full year, he might blow past that number of strikeouts, and that could leave him as a .190 hitter, which would be unacceptable even with his power. I want him to follow Ozzie out the door. Â I made it a point to try and not be so negative and pessimistic before the 2011 season cause I felt like I wasn't enjoying my favorite team/sport, but man did the 2011 season just suck that out of me, and the managerial choice for 2012 just made it soooooo much worse. Â Maybe they did figure almost all season tix holders would at least renew cause of the likeable Robin managing the team.
