July 25, 201213 yr It's a 65-game season now. I'm not overly optimistic about the Sox being the better team, but let's see what happens on the trade front over the next week.
July 25, 201213 yr Good win tonight. Quintana pitched OK but didn't seem to be in his normal rhythm taking longer between pitches. Probably had to do with AJ not catching tonight. If Ventura doesn't have enough confidence in Orlando Hudson for him to pinch hit for Beckham in the 7th inning tonight, then what the hell is he even doing on the roster?

July 25, 201213 yr If I was a GM that needed a SS somewhere, I'd really try to buy low on Alexei. We won't move him, but I'd try to get him if I wanted a long term solution.

July 25, 201213 yr Now that was a fun game. The Good Paul Konerko is back! He's been murdering the ball the past few games. Tyler Flowers is making some solid contact, a decisive improvement for him Adam Dunn hit #30, good job Big 'Un. The Bad Jose Quintana looked human The Ugly Gordon Beckham, ugh. He's becoming a real detriment to us at the plate.
