At the rate this is going...a lot of time left for the Colts to get a field goal in reply.

Some Chris Conte style defense on that last Colts TD.

I knew damn well this game was over once Smith fumbled even though KC had a 3 touchdown lead. It's just how us Chiefs fans roll. 20 years and counting without a playoff win.....

Smith also overthrew a gimme TD that could've almost iced the game.

One of the better NFL games ever

If they would've converted a touchdown with first and goal from the 2 yard line it would've been a different game too............or Junior Hemingway paying attention when Dwayne Bowe wanted to lateral it to him.

Yeah the overthrow wasn't good, looked like Davis had a little stutter step on it too.

How long of a field goal would that have been?

Would have been a 60 yard FG, but even if he makes it, Luck has 1:55 and 2 timeouts to get into FG range. It would have been dumb to kick there.

Brees a lot more inaccurate than usual here early on.

The difference between in and out of the playoffs for the Bears right there, perhaps. Sigh.

I wonder how much of an issue all of the defensive injuries were for the ST unit.

Unless you are a Chiefs fan, lol. Maybe the early season defensive success had more to do with all the backup QBs they faced than anything else. In 20+ years. Kansas City fans haven't seen a single playoff game won, baseball or football.

Agreed. Had it been a 7-6 defensive struggle, then maybe you kick. But with the way the KC defense was playing, the risk was not worth the reward.

What the hell. I turned the weather forecast on and it was 7-6, now it's 7-20.

On that drive it seemed like Eagles fans are as bad as Bears fans, cheering when the offense has the ball.

The Saints should have went for that 4th and 4. There's like 2 teams in the nfl that should let their defense win games, every other needs to let their offenses do it.

Saints defense isn't that bad, but it hit them. Still, they're doing exactly as you say, and now a field goal wins it.

Haven't watched much of Foles, but he is calm and cool in the pocket. Doesn't have a lot of arm strength and doesn't throw a good deep ball, but he's good.

EDIT: Unless it's 4 and 1 (or 2), and you are absolutely in field goal range or it's absolutely necessary to go for it, I don't ever advocate going for it.

EDIT2: Unless it's Madden (WRONG THREAD IDIOT /necessary)

Damn you Eagles! I think I lost about every bet I made on them this year...

Brandon Marshall and Ditka were just on ESPN together. They were asked "Cubs or White Sox" among other things. Ditka took the Cubs...we got Marshall!

Marshall doesn't own a restaurant just a few miles from Wrigley. He can afford to be honest.

Hope we see some contract structuring like this to the defensive side of the ball....

Entering free agency, popular thinking was a snug salary cap situation would allow the Bears to sign one impact player to a large contract.

They doubled that, agreeing to terms with tight end Martellus Bennett at the outset of free agency March 12 and quickly adding left tackle Jermon Bushrod. Their contracts total $57.365 million but are structured so they will count only $4.955 million against this season's cap.

Gimme 2 impact players like that, maybe a mid tier player, and a couple starting rookies on defense and the D should be much better.

Danny Woodhead is the football version of Spud Webb. Smallest guy on the field and strangely hard to stop

Don't particularly care for the Chargers, but want to see the Colts play NE next week instead of DEN, so go Chargers!

Nothing wrong with cheering for the best matchup.
