It’s such a petty s%*# move by Dan, total unforced error.  Be professional.   he is the voice and big name of that station and he couldn’t act like a fucking adult for a five minute crosstalk because a guy on the other side works with some shitty people.  Guess what Dan, North and McNeil also have some shitty takes and tweets in their history and you worked with them for years, and also DAN HIMSELF HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOR SEXIST TWEETS.

for a guy who has a thing about telling people to be professional, he sure didn’t follow his own advice

It's also old school gate keeping. He doesn't like Barstool. Eddie didn't do anything to Bernstein, and the station he is employed by decided to bring Eddie in to co-host. He decided to act tough (while Eddie was on a remote btw and not in studio) and put him in an uncomfortable spot, for absolutely no reason other than he's an old cranky asshole. I can be a giant prick to people when I think it's deserved, but there is no way anyone can make a coherent argument that Eddie deserved any of that. Just a shitty thing to do, and quite frankly the heat Bernstein is getting is long overdue

  • This is tough because I'm not a Bernstein fan but I truly hate everything about Barstool and their hosts.

  • Then why aren't you criticizing barstool for not responding to her request to take it down, which forced her to file the complaint?

Absolutely on all of this.  Look, there’s plenty of things to not like about barstool but Eddie isn’t one of them and Dan is just an asshole.  Hope the stoolies make his professional life rough going forward.

It was nice when Bernstein and Holmes were together cause I could just avoid that block of radio. I guess now I have to block out everything after Mully and Haugh.

Too bad, probably in the minority but I liked Parkins and Spiegel.

I actually enjoyed Bernstein and Holmes and kept them on during the workday and found Parkins and Spiegel to be hit or miss. I wasn’t a huge fan of Parkins and didn’t see the draw, but I think it depends on the kind of show people want to listen to. I’m more analytical and care less about gambling. Although “Can’t Do It” was fun when that was going on.

It’s Spiegel and Holmes afternoons and Bernstein and Marshall Harris middays now

Bernstein is an ass 🤡 who’s time should be coming to an end at the score!

I wish Jason was coming back to work with Spiegs. Couldn't listen to Parkins.

Bernstein fired by the Score……see ya

Didn’t see this anywhere, so RIP Harry Teinowitz. Seemed like a good guy. Died a few weeks ago at 64yo. As I get older, that seems pretty young.

This will be an interesting listen for sure. I don’t want to excuse what Dan did on Twitter, but I always found his post B&B shows and interviews to be engaging. His and Danny Parkins’ absence is really noticeable at the Score.

Great, the Score hasn’t been the same without him!

They take their fishing much more seriously in Minnesota.  Probably why they were willing to excuse Bernstein’s fish-fueled rage.

Maybe Bernstein will be kind enough to give his old friend Shane Riordan a job?  That bum has been milking unemployment for 4 months now.

I thought he was working for a station based in Iowa?

I think it was only part time gigs for them — pay per appearance.  He more than likely has no contractual salary.  He thought he was worth more than he was.  I’m sure he is regretting his decision to not accept The Score’s offer now.  Radio is a dying media when anyone and everyone with some minor fame can start a podcast and make money off of advertising.  He wasn’t even really a full-time on air talent.  He was a producer for the show.  No one knows who the F Shane Riordan is other than Chicagoans so he’s likely SOL.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see him eventually accept some job as a radio producer elsewhere and he will be paid the same mediocre salary that he was already receiving from The Score.
