Yup, it's not until the all-star break that you get to see the true level of skill/athleticism these guys possess. Everything is controlled/contained during the regular season. God damn why couldn't I win the genetic lotto. All I do is set records for weekly beer consumption.

Why is Joe Johnson here? Gross.

The big man depth for the west is incredible. Out goes Aldridge/Griffin in comes Davis/Love or vice versa with a little bit of Dirk/Dwight on the side. And to think, Cousins isn't even here.

Make that the Kevin Durant show now.

#23 turns fifty one today. Happy Birthday!

Sorry but Larry Bird isn't one of the 4 best players ever.

Why apologize for expressing your opinion?

Watching Winning Time.

For those that were alive back then, could Cheryl Miller have played in the NBA? I don't mean being a star, just sticking on a roster.

No chance.

Eh, it seems she is near mythical so I'd ask those that saw her.

LOFL. Hell f***ing no. She would be absolutely obliterated by any decent male college basketball player let alone an NBA player.

So what's Chris Bosh get this summer if he opts out to become a free agent? He was obviously viewed as a max contract guy 4 summers ago but how have his 4 seasons with the Heat affected his value? On one hand, statistically he had some very nice seasons as a third piece on championship teams. And coaches obviously still rate him highly as he was chosen for the all star team every year IIRC despite not having huge numbers. On the other hand, maybe he showed that he's not the guy to lead your team on a max contract, but as a complementary piece he's great. In which case, he's not a guy that deserves a max contract at 30. He wouldn't be a Bulls target obviously but just curious what others think the Bostrich gets. I think he'll still land a max deal.

He'd easily land a max deal. Most people recognize that he's just not used to half his potential in Miami. The thing is, he seems like he's okay with that and wants to stay in Miami.

He will definitely get a max. He's also the only one of the three where opting out makes the most sense

Does that surprise you? He's won two championships playing there.

Wade's issues might end up blowing up the Miami think. It is very possible that they lose and Wade isn't the same and they'll still have all of their money tied up and all of a sudden things won't look so attractive.

But LeBron.

All I know is the Pacers better do something to upgrade their offense (22nd in offensive efficiency). They are so much like the '93 Knicks it's not even funny. Danny Granger is broker than '06 Brian Anderson. George, while really good (and stupid), is not yet truly elite.

I don't think Lebron and Bosh, without Wade, can win a title with the team currently constructed.
