personally I think this closes the books on Granderson. Thank God.

Granderson is my favorite non-Sox player, but I'm happy he's likely not coming here.

I think we should go after Corey Hart. He's not going to cost a lot of money, so not a big risk.

Well. Who in the lineup truly has that veteran "yes he will produce" feeling for you? I have nobody.

Ventura? Oh wait...

Hrmmm well, I can't see that the chips we have, outside of pitching would net us much in the way of an impact MI, so maybe FA?

Yeah I did not want Granderson playing on the South Side

I don't think he'd be a good fit in the AL Central with all the tough righties he'd have to face.

I think it's time for the McCann mega thread.

Rangers-bound, IMO

Rangers-bound, IMO

Actually helps us in the market IMO.

Keep an eye on high-contact scrappy players, I know it sucks but I think mgmt thinks they have the power at this point.

Or Boston. Or NY. Then the runner ups go after Salty. I don't think either are in the cards for the White Sox.

His market is impossible to predict but if he goes elsewhere for under 70 million I will be pissed.

Abreu was number one on my offseason wish list. McCann is number two.

Who's on the market that fits that bill?

I hope it's high OBP and not just hit contact rate guys. Keppinger was a high contact rate guys as well right?

Just my opinion but I would say CF, C, SS or 2B and probably will look to deal a starting pitcher possibly

I think we enough Jeff Keppinger's on the roster. I'll take more power please.

Shoppach/AJP/Torrealba/Buck/Blanco, and lesser extent Suzuki(he's got an option) for a starting list

BTW, they LOOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE Keppinger

OMG just saw Iglesias's catch

So apparently the meeting is wrapping up, I take that as the Sox know they have him pending physical. Ill stay on it.

Come on McCann sweepstakes!

I'm game for him to have another shot at staring 3B.

Hoping he can prove last year to be a fluke.

Would much rather trade a SP for Lowrie and move Kepp back into a utility role.

All in on McCann at this point. That's the one hole left on the team. We could certainly upgrade elsewhere but catcher is the only spot left where it's a must.

I think he's a great utility player. Thats about it IMO. 2B (sometimes) 1B and 3B.

What does this guy bat? R or L? I can't find anything on the baseball sites that states whether he bats righthanded or lefthanded.

I think we'll grow to feel indifferent about Kep over time
