Robertson looks fantastic. One more for the bloated "Spring Training doesn't matter" file.

Ballgame over. Sale beast. Ledge backed off of.

Good to see the new additions playing well the past two days.

Nice to have a stud closer.

Sale coming back and looking better than ever is pretty re-assuring.

Carrasco owns us, Bauer I think we take care of.

I will say that the most encouraging thing has been Robertson and Duke so far. Getting it done.

Are we forgetting that Ventura benched Flowers for Phegley in July of '13 or is the hatred for Robin clouding the facts for you?

Sorry, you're right. Maybe Robin will bench him in July.

Please. He's not a good manager.

Really impressed with the back end so far. Nice to see Duke and Robertson (big money pen arms) on point. Feels great to have a lock down closer. Props to Beckham for increasing the lead. I'll give him credit where credit is due.

I was at the game today, and I was pretty impressed with all aspects of the game for the Sox. The base running definitely has to improve, as well at the situational hitting. Guerra also didn't look good today, but Jennings picked him up.

Let me make it real simple. A pitcher throws a ball on a downward plane. The bat comes in to make contact at a similar ratio. So if you throw a ball chest high, how hard is it to get the correct plane to make solid contact with said pitch. There are some guys who can absolutely murder a high pitch. Most guys just get under it and pop the ball up. You want you fast guys hitting line drives or keeping the ball on the ground. You dont want them wasting their speed by putting the ball into the air a lot. Which will happen at a higher ratio when you attempt to hit high pitches.

Also because of that speed you rather have him swinging at strikes, take that high pitch for a ball and get on base.

The manager brought in the closer in a non-save situation. He doesn't know the rules! If we win it's an accident!

Only because he was already warming up. If he has warmed up, it shouldn't be wasted.

Plus there's an offday tomorrow and we already had a 4 game losing skid where he wasn't used so the back to back early season work probably a good thing

MLB.com didn't show highlights of Robertson. I wanted to check it out and see if he had the same nasty stuff as Saturday.
