By my count, the Sox haven't hit a homer in 91 hitting innings.

Not letting that get to 100 would be nice. Hopefully they don't even get to the 100th inning tonight. Keep it at 99.

This homerless streak doesn't concern me if they win going forward. Didn't the 8-game streak in 2010 happen amidst a 7-1 record or something?

I'm still concerned that our hitters cannot handle velocity. Individually maybe, but collectively? I dunno.

Would be nice to win a complete game with no errors.

All I want is heads in here telling people what's up

The fact that Sale has a higher ERA than Simon ticks me off a little. I hope that changes by the end of tonight.

yesterday was the first, really huge step to recovery.

i am looking for more good days like yesterday.

3 double plays

3 errors

6 hits only...

Glad we won but...at some point it's gotta get better.

It's going to be a lot warmer tonight, and maybe 85 tomorrow. The homer drought will be ova.

then people can start up with their rendition of the "the boys of summer"

Tomorrow is a 1:10 first pitch right? It's gonna be blazin' out tomorrow. Tonight should at least be pleasant which is a welcome departure from miserable.

Here's to a good error free 3 HR night.

Looks like we are wearing the same jerseys tonight. Good move!

Wear them until it doesn't work. And get some gray ones. They need some help on the road.

I never liked those uniforms. I always thought they looked like space suits. For some reason, I think they look better on fans in the stands.

superstitions, that kind of remind me of a story, i can't remember who, but this player would refuse to clean or change his uni if he is on a hitting streak. even on the rd, he would wear that uni under his road uni.

i would really hate it if it was in the aug month.

#WhiteSox for 5/6: Eaton 8, Cabrera 7, Abreu 3, LaRoche DH, Garcia 9, Gillaspie 5, Ramirez 6, Flowers 2, Johnson 4. Sale v. Simon.

#returnofFlowers

I'd like to see them try Garcia in the 3rd spot, and bump Abreu and LaRoche back one. I know it messes with the R-L-R-L-R thing, but you could also swap Ramirez and Gillaspie and still have R-R-L-R-L. Garcia is not showing a lot of power yet, but he's hitting the ball and getting on base better than anyone else right now. Shake things up.

Over/Under on CWS errors tonight: 1.5.

Under.

Error free, somebody homers, Sale goes 7.1/1 ER, Sox win 4-1.

thunderstruck

First batter reaches again because it's how we do it now

Not sure how Ump is calling some of these pitches balls.

Does an average right fielder get to that ball? I couldn't see his route that well from the replay but it looked like Avi was completely fooled.

25 pitch inning to start. Why not Chris?
