f*** a challenge, that's a win boys!

lmao

Well it always helps when they other team sucks more

Quintana good. LaRoche clutch. Bullpen, great!

Let's sweep please. Detroit looks awful

Avi was hanging out over the plate that AB. I think he could have taken a strike off his elbow. That last one was inside, and had no chance not to hit him.

Absolutely huge win, gives us a solid chance to take 2 of 3, which is what we need to keep doing to get back into this thing.

Also, props to Robin for taking Melky out of the 2-hole and pinch-hitting for Flowers late in the game. We're past the point of worrying about these guys' egos, wins are all that matter.

I think it's Shuck time in LF. Melky should ride pine a bit.

A win's a win!

Q got the no decison, but that's only 3 out of 11 starts. He's 2-6, with a 4.28 ERA.

Good to see Robin shaking the lineup around. Overdue imo

Come on y'all that was clutch as hell

If we end up anywhere near .500, this should be the motto for the season.

Robin on Alexei staying in the #2 hole.

"I think it could happen against lefties."

Yes!!!! No Alexei #2 vs. RHP

finally and a really nice performance.

only 6.5 back

That ball Avi hit was 6-8 inches off the plate...impressive coverage.

He's a better breaking ball hitter (for power) at this point in his career.

only 6.5 back

5.5 behind KC, which is all that really matters. Twins aren't a playoff team and will regress hard soon enough.

Very glad to see and past due. As I said in another thread, his resistance to make lineup changes has been my biggest pet peeve with him.

You say that like its a bad thing.

He even sold it with a grunt

The better move, though, would be moving Avi into the 2 hole, and I doubt we'll see that. Surprise me, Robin.

And as far as pet peeves go, the complete lack of preparation on a seasonal and nightly basis does it for me.

Not trying to be a dick, but weren't the Sox just 3 back a few weeks ago? We've actually regressed a bit.

No. They were 3 back of the 2nd WC
