There is nothing wrong with this move. Some were perplexed when Alexei's $10 million option wasn't picked up last fall. Guess what, this guy has been better the last couple of years.

I'm a fan of the Rollins pickup, but I'd much rather have a backup IF who can hit from the left side like Sanchez given the makeup of the infield. I'd be more concerned about his defense though.

Yeah I am fine with it. When negative opinions come out with moves like this its because of the expectations that the fans had in seeing a bigger name or more glamorous move. A guy like this obviously doesnt satisfy the Sox fans thirst for a big move. But we made plenty of big moves last off season sooooo...
