AND THAT IS A WHITE SOX WINNER

Featured Replies

And relief pitching!!

Hope we can find another SS when Anderson is elected president this year.

Win #10

Yay for optimism

Yay for top prospects

Yay for defense

Yay for Melkman

Yay for Avila homers

First of all, f*** KC. Eight losses in a row! Damn if we could make it 10 in a row that would be monumental! Q normally is good for only five innings vs. KC. Please, Q, throw a better game!

Anderson ... yes.

This is our old winning formula. Home runs at the Cell. I would go for lift and pull in ALL home games.

p.s. My mlb.com hasn't turned off the postgame. Whatever happened to Rongey? What does he do now for the Score?

p.s.s. I can't believe Eaton is barely above .250 now. He needs to draw more walks and be more selective IMO.

I like winning.

Avila guys.... Holy s***.

Nobody saw that coming!

But it was awesome to see Anderson have such a great first game.

Yeah, that was a typical 2000-2006, first four and one half month of 2008 offensive explosion in the Chicago summer months.

Putnam deserves some kudos for preserving the 7-5 lead and not letting things get away from them.

If Avila and Lawrie can heat up, that will offset whatever Shuck and Garcia do (or don't do.)

2nd place all alone, btw.

Looks like it will be:

CLE +8

CHW 3 1/2 GB

DET/KCR 4 GB

At least the Indians are missing Salazar for awhile, seems that guy was an automatic win every time out, same with Tomlin.

I blame Ventura for this win

Don't get bitter about all us negative posters. 6-19 will do that to most fans. Realize you are an unusually positive fan.

When was the last time the Sox hit four home runs at home?

That was nice to see.

Sale shouldn't have started the 7th but they survived it.

Mark

I can't believe we beat the damn Royals!!

Best pitcher in the AL going tomorrow.

Mr. Qonsistency

:snr Thunderstruck for Avila and the new guy and Morneau in the dugout.

I didn't even notice Morneau

I was at the game today. Always fun when we hit a bunch of dingers. Got to see Anderson's debut and be there for his 1st ML hit (although I was taking a piss when it happened).
