No need to mention climate change on the white house website but thankfully they did mention this crap:

White House website promotes Melania Drumpf’s modeling and jewelry line

I feel like her jewelry is made by the same guy who made Bayside's class rings. Turn everything green.

But it perversely incentivizes leverage, and it's biggest winners are upper middle class, who can already afford a home. If you want to incentivize first time home ownership there are better ways.

But, whatever, not the biggest deal in housing policy world anyway. It's largely popular, if people want it, whatever.

The biggest deal is keeping interest rates low. That makes it the easiest.

Well if you ignore all of the loan fraud of the early 2000's. Not having any money and getting a mortgage made it real easy to buy a home.

To be fair, he blocked a small reduction that was supposed to go into place on the 25th. It's not like he raised taxes. And it's a pretty minimal reduction. I think the average benefit was like ~400 for the year.

If that's the best "spin job" you can do, you might still be eligible to work for Perry or DeVos.

I know it's petty but I love seeing pictures of sparse crowds at the inaugural parade. He can lie all he wants afterward about it but we have evidence of the truth. And you know he'll comment about it since he has the self-restraint of a 5 year old.

More potential conflicts of interest.

Ho hum. Waiting for the first filing over the Trump DC Intl. Hotel in the Old Post Office Building to come down the pike.

Chaffetz is such a hypocritical ass.

Two thoughts here.

#1 The odds of impeachment are about zero with a Republican Congress.

#2, By doing something public, you make yourself, and your family a target for all of the idiots who go about attacking people for going after Donald Trump. You had better be sure this is worth it if you go public.

1 but it will be fun

Guess it's hard for him to keep saying his terrible approval ratings are fabricated. No one bothered to show up to his lame party because his fanbase is tiny like his hands.

But they ARE located strategically.

He keeps forgetting that same Republican Congress would greatly prefer Pence, and doesn't consider Trump one of their own...especially reinforced by today's speech criticizing the DC Establishment in order to play well in flyover territory.

Just a little objectivity never hurt anyone

Well, obviously he didn't remove anything personally.

Here's a better question...will those topics about gay rights and climate change/environmental protection EVER show up again on the Whitehouse.gov site over the next four years?

Most liberal activists certainly have no good reason they will ever reappear again without a fight.

I dont know where else to post this so I am going to post it here.

So I was reading an article and it cited something from twitter. I figured the person from twitter was like a journalist or something. It turned out it was just some random lady from Florida. This has just gotten completely out of control in terms of what is credible reporting. Now granted its USA today, but still it just blew my mind.

At least one person said the reason for the stands was that the parade was behind schedule.

Ann Ruth Figg @arfigg

Reason stands r almost empty at Inaugural Parade it started too late. Not fair to President Trump & people who wanted to c parade

5:36 PM - 20 Jan 2017

By her own admission she was watching on TV.

Its like quoting me about the weather in Japan. "Everyone in Japan reports that it is raining. But at least one person, Soxbadger, said the reason for the rain was Godzilla was peeing."

C'mon guys...

"Reasonability" is going to be in short supply for at least the next two years...

And he does have a point. Look at the pizzeria attack. Someone watching on t.v. could just as easily have said "fill in the blank" ethnic/religious protest group is blocking the streets/stands and that's why the attendance in the stands looks so sparse. Hard not to imagine Trump supporters not overreacting to fake news if they can't distinguish between reality and fantasy.

I was listening to CSPAN calls before the inauguration and this woman was just going on and on about how Obama finally admitted to being a Muslim 2 1/2 years ago...that he had a close relationship with his imam (brutal pronunciation), was never the rightful president of the US due to his birth certificate and was encouraging Muslims throughout the world to engage in jihad against the US because he wasn't proud of his country.

The host asked where this information came from...."You Tube."
