Sox are back to leading the AL in runs per game at 5.11 through about 22% of the schedule.

Crazy ass s*** that we're already nearly 1/4th of the way through the season.

The question asked was how long does Rienzo last? 5.5 or less? How does a pitcher go 5 1/2 innings? That is six in baseball terms  :)

5.5 innings would be in between getting one or two outs in the 6th. 5 1/3 would be under, 5 2/3 would be over.

I take it as 5 1/3 or less is under and 5 2/3 or more is over.

You do an unachievable midpoint in over/under so there can't be an in-between option. If I picked 5 innings even, for example, and he pitched exactly 5 innings, it would be neither over OR under.

It's against forum rules to post pictures relating to Brandon McCarthy that aren't this one, and only this one, now and forever....

Indeed. Edited OP appropriately

The best possible ending to this game would be Eaton getting the game-winning RBI off Addison Reed in the bottom of the 9th, but that scenario's not going to happen.

The worst would be a McCarthy CG/Reed save or anything involving Cody Ross coming up with a big hit (see 2012 nightmares).
