jamesdiego 41 Posted September 23, 2015 Well, Japanese people are so polite and nice. Maybe Iguchi just didn't want to make Brian feel so bad because Gooch had such a bigger schlong than him. He probably already pitted Brian enough with his batting average.

Soxfest 308 Posted September 23, 2015 Duke another total waste of money.
pettie4sox 145 Posted September 23, 2015 QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 09:06 PM) Duke another total waste of money. He was dealing early but yeah he's no good.
fathom 5,551 Posted September 23, 2015 Duke representing the offseason from hell. At least Q keeps boosting his trade stock.
BigEdWalsh 1 Posted September 23, 2015 QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 07:05 PM) more disturbing: One more year of LaRoche or two more years of Duke? Two more years of Duke though I, for one, think he has had some good moments. Two more years though? Forget it.

I hope the Sox aren't as bad next year. Game day threads are starting to get strange.
Lip Man 1 306 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Zach Duke...yet another off season mistake. And they've got him for two more years...he'll be 35 then. Sox have now scored three runs or less in six of their last seven games... And now have crossed the 50% threshold for the year. 151 games played, 76 times three runs of less...50.3% That's pretty bad. Once again feel lousy for Q. Wouldn't blame him if he told his agent to get him the hell out of town this winter. And this is interesting: Chuck Garfien @ChuckGarfien 2m2 minutes ago In Jose Quintana's 117 career starts, the White Sox have scored 0 runs 17 times, one run 27 times and two runs 27 times. That's a total of 71 times three runs or less for Q. Almost 61% of his starts. Mark Edited September 23, 2015 by Lip Man
greg775 1,240 Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) At least the Sox didn't get no hit. Q might deserve Sox MVP this season. I'd give it to him. What the hell. Edited September 23, 2015 by greg775

I don't know if I trust the front office to make a 'good trade' for Q, though. He has been such a solid pitcher for the Sox. He's a stud.

aeichhor 288 Posted September 23, 2015 Kinda funny how many peeps on here didn't want the Sox to get Andrew miller and wanted someone else like duke instead. Laroche was one of my feel disappointed when I saw that the Sox signed him.
