Bears Stadium Watch: What If They Moved to Rate Field Aft...Article on Kaplan’s rumor for those who prefer to read.

Did he improve? Sure. Do you get the impression he likes the Sox? Yea. Did he deserve another year? No. Even with his improvement he still was bad and I get the impression Stone would have retired rather than work with him again full time. Kinda just is what it is. He's been gainfully employed with his travel expenses all comped for three seasons while taking most of the offseason off from other gigs. He'll be OK and we'll hopefully find someone better.

Who on this Sox team spent the entire 2024 record-losing season? Benintendi is one. Anyone else?

I think these 2026 White Sox Whiz Kids might be a team of destiny and are going to beat the Guards in 4 games. After that it will probably be harder with either the Rays or Yankees in the ALCS so no prediction.

I know this isn’t the majority opinion here but if they DONT take the ALDS, I‘ll have a chip on my shoulder for years to come. I want a banner of some sort to be flying forever in Chicago to commemorate this extremely special team and year! LFGWS!!!!

The Braves pitching was amazing. Three Hall of Fame with six Cy Young awards.

Same feeling as when Hunter Brown was listed… right?

I just do not want to get swept by these dudes. Lose in 4-5, sure. I can live with that.

My under the radar dude who I think is going to make a name for himself and surprise a lot of people this series is Brenton Doyle.

Series prediction: Guardians in 5These teams played each other awfully close in the regular season. The White Sox won seven of 13 games, and the aggregate score was 58-57 in Chicago's favor, with seven of the contests decided by one run and four ending in walk-off fashion. Those narrow margins suggest this series could go the distance, which makes me inclined to tilt slightly toward the team with home-field advantage and more experience navigating high-stakes October games. Chicago is fully capable of pulling the upset here, and based on how the season series played out, it arguably wouldn't be much of an upset. But I'll lean toward the Guardians here on account of that elevated experience and their advantage on the mound. — Shusterman yahoo.com/sports

I saw this as well. Is Kaplan a trustworthy source?

THE BEARS CANT LEAVE THE LAKE FRONT, THEY ARE A LAKE FRONT TEAM!!! HOW DARE THEY!

The Marlins were a built super team. Let’s not pretend like they really were a surprise in 97, that was an insane team. 03, sure, but 97 was built to win so their owner could sell at a higher price point

Can't post the tweet for some reason, but Dave Kaplan posted that Goodell, Pritzker and Ryan met and discussed 35th and Shields for the Bears.

And they couldn't get past the Marlins in 97

They had both the Yankee and the Braves juggernaut staring them in the face

HBO Max, that's crazy
