  1. Past hour

  2. That’s the game plan but the Guards have the A’s this weekend and I watched the Rays-A’s series and the A’s have given up too especially yesterday afternoon.
  3. BMont is lost, shouldn’t be out there unless for defense and he’s not exactly Robert Clemente in right field.
  4. Great win as I think we need to take 3 wins in this series but the bats have to come around as our pitching isn’t going to go out there and hold teams to 1 run every game. Mune might have finally figured things out as I noticed his hands were a bit lower in his batting stance.
  5. Today

  6. Man 9 games at this point feels like a full season lol.
  7. A's were actually playing pretty decent until they ran into the Rays. They have a winning record in September.
  8. Glad they are going with Sandlin. Him and Burke might be our 1-2 in the playoffs if he can keep this up.
  9. I am going to need an AED next to the lazy boy at the ready for these games.
  10. I don't think Ishiba showed up at the Bridgeport meeting.
  11. He is under control until 2030 and doesn't make much. I would think the Sox gives him the Tristan Peters treatment and see what happens.
  12. Let's Go White Sox
  13. Doyle might wind up being a keeper.
  14. I'll be damned if I haven't been saying this s%*# every time he bats
  15. I have never read so many words that amounted to absolute nonsense in my entire life. Seek help. The public doesn't own the current ballpark. The ISFA does. All the current ballpark does is cost taxpayers money. What the f*** are you even talking about? P.S. Reinsdorf has had decades to do those things. Why hasn't he done anything?
  16. The real tragic irony of tray all is that Reinsdorf was the one to initiate the whole push towards the 78 and wanted public funding to build the whole stadium
  17. If they do go on and make the playoffs, the one big positive is going to be this extra week of games with close to do or die pressure each day...CLE definitely played like it was G7 after they lost the first game and had their backs against the wall. Just like 2008 down the stretch (five losses in a row followed by three must win games), even though it really didn't carry into Tampa despite all the Alexei dramatics.
  18. So basically they're just around 100+ average per game away from Cindy for 21st. Guess the same situation will occur Friday night with the Swindell concert. So they're headed for 1.950,000-1,975,000 depending on the weather these next two weekends.
  19. The only alternative is to eat that contract. We’re going into the final year of Benintendi’s deal for a reason…extracting whatever value JR can squeeze out of that deal. Castillo takes the Vasil/Jimmy Cordero role.
  20. No way Castillo even makes the playoff roster. What a terrible addition this has turned into. I can't imagine him sticking around through next year in a bullpen role.
  21. Once again, channel it.
  22. It was a semi-clever strategy to frame the issue around Bridgeport as though Bridgeport is the "Southside" as in "Southside White Sox." No. Then to target Bridgeport residents as above. And they deserve this from a billionaire only interested in satisfying his own agenda? There is no immediate need for a new stadium and no need to demolish a stadium that belongs to IL taxpayers. The degree of urgency to replace a solid publicly owned stadium with a privately owned stadium speaks for itself. Ishbia's first priority should have been on improving the team instead of running amuck with this absurd plan. In addition, Ishbia could have purchased property surrounding the Rate and developed it in order to enhance the gentrification of the area. The area and the stadium could benefit from construction of new residential buildings, bars, restaurants and shops. Instead, Ishbia decided to acquire land to build a park he will own. But all he could find on his self-imposed timetable was a substandard tract in a RR yard which he was confident that architects could design a stadium to fit. The reverse logic there is flawed and his miscalculations abound. The result of rushing to build on that parcel (as depicted in the renderings) looks horrendous, i.e., 3 or 4 decks, enclosed pedestrian bridges spanning a street and adjacent railroad tracks, and wall in RF that appears to be driven by a mistaken notion that the canal /RR location would remind fans of Oracle Park - but here hitting the ball into dirty canal water. Ishbia's rail yard is a junk yard compared to Oracle or the upcoming Athletics stadium in Vegas. He should pause, keep the WSox at the Rate while considering other alternatives. Of course Chicago is not on the ocean but please, look at the railyard rendering. What a joke. It's awful. Take a timeout Ishbia and perhaps a project that would not require a rail yard at Rate field or a stadium next to RR tracks will emerge.
  23. This game is proof that they need to wear the Southside jerseys more.
  24. Well lets see what happens I guess. The bare minimum right now is winning 2 of the next 3.
  25. Sandlin vs Sears 1st Place Sox 9 games left, one game at a time.
  26. And a Mune shot for the game winner. Extend Fedde 😎
