Thankfully, Grant Taylor took Seranthony's spot. That said, what role does Dominguez have moving forward? The guy that comes in when there is a "less stressful situation?" How many of those have the Sox had lately? Dominguez last performance was a joke...bouncing a wild pitch before it hit home plate, walking two batters that ended up scoring and winning the game for CLE. Yea Getz signed him to a 2 year deal, but his patience has to be wearing thin with Dominguez. He has become a liability.

After celebrating in Boston’s dugout, cameras captured a visibly upset Contreras crying — with the veteran first baseman overcome with emotion amid the tragedy playing out in his native Venezuela following a pair of devastating earthquakes last week. The death toll from both earthquakes has surpassed 1,700 as of Monday night, with Contreras raising funds and spreading the word about ways to assist recovery efforts in Venezuela over the last few weeks. “It’s not easy to hide. It’s not easy just to show up and play with everything that’s going on in my country,” Contreras said after Monday’s win. “I wasn’t feeling good the whole day. I was kind of down, sad. He used a notoriously racist trope directed at Contreras in 2026. Please tell me you aren't defending it.

Great game with big moments from some players we need to start pulling their weight again. Get one more tomorrow and get out of Cleveland. I hate that place and hate that team. Good riddance! PS: A 15 to 3 whallop tomorrow would be extra special and make me have the good feels once more… please.

Great game, surprised by the pitching and we got a couple timely runs. Taylor should be a 1 inning closer. He is so good when he can just let loose for the 1 inning

I watched the condensed game on the mlb app and was stressed out. Great win.

"It's a hilarious combo, really. A man (James Wood) this large, this lean, this explosive, this singular of an athletic force, with more chill than a walk-in freezer. Usually, Wood exudes calm, oozes composure, floats through life with an endearing nonchalance. But that all changes when a baseball enters his happy zone. What a special talent." CJ Abrams has been the best, or at least most consistent NL SS, but they still might end up moving him, just as they parting ways with Gore.

Both done by Preller; this time, he can't trade with himself. He may move Miller, but not for a top 20 guy. Good teams save their top prospects.

Mune is hopefully going to make a massive difference in putting that lineup back into some semblance of order.

Burke pitched one hell of a game. It's a shame he wasn't able to get the win but he kept the team in it. They won't get swept and the worst they'll be is a game out heading into a much needed off day. Just a gutsy performance tonight breaking that nine game losing streak in Cleveland.

Leo deVries and then the Soto/J.Wood-Gore-Abrams Padres from WASH moves have basically been the only Top 15 prospect deadline trades in recent memory. Mason Miller could be the next domino to fall.

Probably right. I will say this: I'm glad we're 10 ahead of Detroit and tied with Cleveland versus 10 ahead of Cleveland and tied with Detroit.
