2027 Offense
I feel Braden got rushed...but held his own to the point he should still be in the plans...but he certainly has to improve!
-
Fire of a season!
While im sure Venable and Getz names will be in contention, Tampa Bay is probably more deserving of manager and executive of the year awards. They won 77 games last season, and this season win 98 in a much better division and are currently in the ALCS and almost certainly will make it to the World Series. Chad Tracy also did an excellent job taking over the Red Sox and getting into the playoffs after their 10-17 start.

2027 Offense
If he gets more OF reps, I can see Braden on the hot seat. I pray I don't ever have to see Acuna or Romo ever take another at-bat again.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Jose Abreu was a stud.
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
I got to interview Abreu for a school project and he was the chillest dude.
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Joe Kelly always thought he was by far the smartest guy in the room...and had some wonderfully entertaining moments in his career...but by the end he seemed to phone it in! Liam H was a guy I would want on my team!

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Honestly it is Abreu, and then anyone else.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Good Eloy was so much fun

2027 Offense
I will say if Seya is willing to take a bit of a hometown discount to play with his bestie... I'd do it. I think in a few years, he'll be a full time DH as he's dealt with some knee issues in the past. But rotation needs to be the focus.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Still pisses me off that they never offered him the QO but picked up Kimbrel's option after the 2021 season.
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
IIRC they hated how honest and available he was with the media

2027 Offense
Focus needs to be on the pitching.... so yes. Some minor additions. But pitching needs to be the focus IMO.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Abreu for production alone as top choice. It’s not close

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Liam. If Leury wasn't overused, and wrongly used, he could have been truly legendary. He should have been the Grandville Waiters of the Sox.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Rodon was my guy. Personally met him a couple of times, also played video games with his cousin quite a bit a few years ago. Great dude. His wife is a delight as well.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Kopech. That guy was a man's man. That guy was ALL MAN. This man was strong and tough. And I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there, they said, "Oh my God, that's unbelievable."

The Official Scoreboard watching thread
Go Rays and Brewers! 1 win down, 7 to go. If the Rays and Brewers to indeed meet in the World Series, it'll be the first time since 1980 that two teams who have never won the World Series faced off in the Fall Classic. Back in 1980, it was the Phillies (last of the original 16 teams to win the WS) vs. the Royals (1969 expansion team).

Sorry, was walking to my phone to vote but I pulled my hamstring off the bone

2027 Offense
I think the bulk of their moves will be on the pitching side. With Bonemer coming soon and Roch likely just over a year out, they probably stick mostly with what they have. Benintendi could be released, but I think they likely use him as a placeholder until Caleb is ready. If they lose Grichuk, then I could see them signing a similar RH bat. And as previously mentioned, I think Baldwin takes Acuna’s spot on the roster.

Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
I’m kinda putting the post-Paul Konerko career to 2025 in a box, and moving on. 2026 is a nice start to a new era.
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Liam Hendricks seems like a damn good guy...and fun! And fearless! Not perfect on the mound but balled out! Still can't figure out why guys like Kelly and Graverman didn't like him? If those rumors are true?
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
Do you like to think about Leury?
-
Favorite Sox Player of the Hann Rebuild Era?
I don’t want think about any of these people ever again. Cease can come back if he can give us 32 starts.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
World-class museums, too. It's been ranked best big city in the US for 10 straight years. Winters still suck, but they're not nearly as bad as they were in the 70s and 80s....not even close. Now imagine having two top-rated ballparks in the same city. Like it or not (I don't), Wrigley is a bucket list-destination for many people. It would be great for the city if we could add a Petco/Oracle/PNC-level ballpark for the Sox on top of that. I know me saying this will make someone throw a huge hissy fit, but I'm still going to say it.

Fall/Winter Ball 2026
And Caleb Wilson from the Bulls if he also becomes legit.
