They found a manager with exciting potential, they identified the beginnings of a core with guys, and they landed the first overall pick, in a draft with two elite talents at the top in the best draft class in several years. Rebuilds mean nothing if ownership doesn’t spend the money to augment the roster, but the is rebuild is super promising.

That doesn't automatically result in more butts in the seats. Just gives fans a reason to watch at home and maybe see something different. It would be surprising if there's even a noticeable increase in tickets sold for a May weekday/night home game when Braden debuts in 2026. Now if you go back to Moncada Jimenez Kopech and Robert debuting...those were all must see events in the rebuild timeline.

That was just about the best possible Sunday for the Bears. The only thing that would have been better is if the Niners and Seahawks lost. But the Lions losing is huge. It basically makes it that if the Bears win 1 of the last 3, they're in the playoffs.
