Winter Meetings Dec. Trades FA Signings Thread
caulfield12 replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Even WestEddy accidentally wrote Oliver Done in one of these threads.. A new nickname to pair with Meadiocre. -
Huge beat down and they probably left 3-10 more points out there due to mis field goal and a few drops. Very nice win against a bad team, but a very good defense.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Boopa1219 replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
The entire fortune of the organization just changed drastically. The 2025 Sox just had one of the best possible years for a rebuilding team. They found a manager with exciting potential, they identified the beginnings of a core with guys, and they landed the first overall pick, in a draft with two elite talents at the top in the best draft class in several years. Rebuilds mean nothing if ownership doesn’t spend the money to augment the roster, but the is rebuild is super promising. -
Ah ok, so it's better the Lions lost, I was being greedy and looking for the #1 NFC spot but just making the playoffs would be huge for our favorite franchise going forward. Gotta reel in my mouth breathing Bears fan inside me haha. Love the progress, more improvement needed with Caleb and the defense.
-
No, that is stupid. The Bears have 10 wins with three games to go. If they lose on Saturday, but won the next two, they aren’t missing the playoffs with 12 wins.

No s%*#. At the time. my thought was that the dude was hitting a ton, every influencer was screaming for him to be called up, I believe that blogs and sports radio even talked about him. I thought the Sox, if they were going to bring him up, do it on the next homestand, maybe sell some tickets. I really didn't believe they'd run out of SRO tix, too. Yeah, maybe if the Sox challenge .500 in 2026, and 2027 comes off without a hitch, Hagen Smith, or Roch draws interest when they're called up.
-
That doesn't automatically result in more butts in the seats. Just gives fans a reason to watch at home and maybe see something different. It would be surprising if there's even a noticeable increase in tickets sold for a May weekday/night home game when Braden debuts in 2026. Same thing with the Colson and Teel debuts...barely noticed except by diehards. Now if you go back to Moncada Jimenez Kopech and Robert debuting...those were all must see events in the rebuild timeline.

The clock is gonna strike midnight sooner or later but I am enjoying this season as a Broncos fan

packers saying it's likely torn ACL for Parsons
-
And they will stay basically the same until Ishbia takes over especially with the lockout coming next December.
-
is it fair to say that whoever loses this Saturday likely doesn't make the playoffs? or can the loser still land a WC if they win out?
-
That was just about the best possible Sunday for the Bears. The only thing that would have been better is if the Niners and Seahawks lost. But the Lions losing is huge. It basically makes it that if the Bears win 1 of the last 3, they're in the playoffs.
-
Hell yea Bears back in 1st place. Feels good.

Lukakke is Japanese Appling?
-
Almost perfect, the Seahawks and Rams losing would've made it perfect

I mean, what a day in the NFL, this league never fails to create story after story. Bears have basically a perfect day with the Packers and Lions losing, Pack suffer injuries to Watson and Parsons, Chiefs dynasty may have officially ended today, Rivers comes back…
