  1. Past hour

  2. I really hate the Sox using Adams in relief.
  3. No, thank you. Knock off your intentional bullshit of starting game threads out of line, rooting for other teams, antagonizing posters, and stirring up nonsense. You’ve lost a handful of ban bets already and clearly that’s just another example of your horseshit. It isn’t fucking funny. So I’ll chill out if you knock it off.
  4. Instantly love and want this kid.
  5. Brewers made the post-season that year too.
  6. It’s a tough balance to be an “over the top hype guy” and an insightful baseball voice. The San Diego guys are the only example of it working effectively that I am aware of. Schrif has gotten better - but I’m not sure if that is a reflection of his “talent” evolving or simply the teams improvement making him look sound tolerable at times. At least he cut the “SOUTHSIDE STAND UP” failed bit.
  7. Big Fan of Fauske! Love the tools will be making Top 100 Lists soon. Making improvements every month.
  8. Thanks, yea the physical profile stands out sounds like a Luis Robert type physique.
  9. No, douchebag. Your nonsense is beyond tired and old.
  10. I think it was the BA podcast who said there’s usually only around 2 top 100 guys traded at the deadline.
  11. His time in Seattle was over and his era in Chicago is days away from beginning. LETS FUCKING GO! Competitors like him do not want to be fucked with. They want the ball every five days and believe that there isn’t anyone in the world that can beat them on that day. I also think he is going to help our young guys like Burke, Martin, and Schultz.
  12. I don’t care what people say Castillo still has it in the tank when he needs it. I also buy into our staff believing in tinkering his change and modifying his pitch mix. Last time I was stoked for a deadline starting pitcher like this, it was for Jose Contreras.
  13. Eerily quiet indeed. Have to imagine the looming lockout is causing the hesitation in teams buying and giving up future assets? Other than the Dodgers being the Dodgers there really haven’t been any significant prospects moved yet.
  14. Timmy U replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
I don’t know about other people. I see a really good athlete, with good swing decisions who has a lot of room to get stronger. If he does, there’s a lot of upside. People in the org compare him to Grady Sizemore. He was traded away and it was a mistake
  15. The last time the Sox and Cubs combined for this many wins on August 1st was 2008, which was one of only two times that they both made the playoffs. Now you know . . .
  16. His calls on big plays are good (thogh he can’t seem to identify a home run off the bat), but he simply talks too much. His job as the PBP guy is to call the pitches and describe the results. He calls every game like it’s a blowout or rain delay where the announcer has to fill. If he talked less, called the game, and let the color guy fill the space, he’d be much better off. Fans will always complain about announcing. People on here are triggered by the 8 second “Nationwide” jingle for God’s sake. I usually defend him because I feel like there’s a lot of piling on him, but if they move on I’d be ok. He doesn’t seem to get that he’s not the show.
  17. He's been awful after I suggested he might be a fit for the White Sox in deal with the Mariners. Relievers, they're volatile.
  18. Looks like Castillo has been on our radar dating back to four years…
  19. X (formerly Twitter)Blowen’ Wilson🔱 (@MarinersGlaze) on XPiggyback interview opening with Luis Castillo talking about his trade to the White Sox followed by Logan Gilbert to close it out.
  20. Dreaming the dream. Sox best case post-season scenario. Yankees catch the Rays, win the East. 1 seed. Rays are the #1 WC thus the 4 seed. Red Sox snatch the #2 WC. 5 seed. Sox win the Central. 2 seed. Guardians are the last wild card. 6 seed. Astros win the west. 3 seed. Yankees/Rays/Red Sox play an eastern division shown down bracket. 4 seed Rays beat the 5 seed Red Sox in the WC round. Then beat the 1 seed Yankees in the ALDS. Sox beat whoever wins the wild card round between Astros and Guardians in the ALDS. Sox vs Rays in the ALCS with hone field advantage. (Does the higher seed get home field in the ALCS regardless of record?) Why not the White Sox!
  21. Let his contract expire and have him ride off into the sunset. It was an experiment that didn't work, move on.
  22. Oh god please not Amin. I can't stand him on Bulls games. He's a football guy at best imo.
