  1. Past hour
  2. I understand that but Vrabel has done it before in Tennessee so he is more of a known quantity, whereas Johnson truly was new to this
  3. It's still weird that we are hoarding catchers when we refuse to let our catchers do anything other than catch.
  4. I'm speaking to how the right coach can flip the script. I believe he has done that in New England. 3 of top 5 coach of the year candidates are new hires.
  5. Have to think Lee will be traded in early spring for a team that has a injured backup catcher.
  6. He has 2 options remaining, whereas Lee has none so Lee would have to make the team which wouldn’t be an issue if they carried 3 catchers. I don’t think they should though and should still play both Teel and Q every day (though, it doesn’t seem like that will be the case).
  7. Another good move on the margins. Refreshing to finally have some upside guys at the end of the 40 man.
  8. 4 years of control, cheap, cannon arm, decent power. Could be a nice backup catcher for someone.
  9. Today
  10. Thinking the same. Could be either, but only Quero will get any sort of return.
  11. Tanner Murray came in the trade that also netted Everson Pereira for Yoendrys Gomez and Stephen Wilson.
  12. Man, I went and looked at the 40 man roster this morning in preparation for a post and saw that guy on there and also said "who the f*** is Ben Cowles?" Same for Tanner Murray, no idea who that guy is or where he came from. Must have missed that add.
  13. They had 6 catchers going into ST last season (Quero, Teel, Lee, Hackenberg, Thaiss, Narvaez). Romo gets them back to 5 after the departures of Thaiss and Narvaez. Charlotte needs help there, so probably another depth add or two coming.
  14. Was my first thought when I saw this. They should be able to get something for him.
  15. Switch-hitter, Albuquerque numbers are probably inflated, 14 HRs in 370 PAs, 2020 1st rounder. 2024 - .297/.339/.499
  16. 1) There have been rumors in KC that if anew Royals stadium doesn't get done they will likely move to Nashville. 2) The Bears front office was suppose to meet with the Indiana officials 2 days ago. (January 6) I wonder if that happened. The Bears stadium issue seems to have become very quiet.
