Now you're changing the question. You did say Gonzalez was 25% of the Crochet trade. If we're counting bodies, yes he was - but not in terms of value. I beg to differ that he was weighted equally with Meidroth, B Montgomery, and Teel. I don't know if the Sox should have DFA'd Gonzalez, but he was obviously the 4th man in that deal.

So I'm not sure if they actually announced to people who they were or had a crew with them, but it must have been so fun for them to have fun in anonymity running around and acting like fools without people recognizing them as baseball players. We see this as players having fun (which it is and is great!), but they might also see this as an opportunity to just be themselves and have fun without being recognized (in the moment). Happy for them, happy for this team.

Ian & Jimmy pointed out that Cannon has got his walks down but still doesn't strike out enough batters. Cannon's last 6 games he has issued a total of 0 walks. If he can keep that up, he could be a in house low leverage arm in the pen next year. I gave up on Cannon but he might have value, who knows.

I think it's a bottom 1/3 system right now. Probably around 20-22 or so. Yeah it's tough to sustain with just draft picks and trades. We do aggregate rankings. We all rank 30 players and assign prospect points etc. The top 10 was the same. Bergolla at 11, Davis 12, Adams 13, Wolkow 14 and Smith 15. You can believe whatever you'd like though in 2026. He was on the just missed list. The DSL is fake.

I was just at the opening of the Teddy Roosevelt Presidential Library. Borrow ideas from that experience. Not much static stuff to look at. Make it interactive, how stuff for people to do and learn.

I think most of that stuff is in a display case in the Scout Seat lounge. It's always nice to look at.

Watching Ian & Jimmy last night. Jimmy brought up that Smith is wild but so nasty that he doesn't get hit. Then he said that at the ML level hitters will just lay off and make him throw strikes and that is the problem. If the Sox got Hicks on track I hope they can do the same with Smith.
