Seriously how many times does a team score a ton of runs and only to score a very low amount the next game

I’m pretty sure it happened today two or three times and it’s been a theme with this team. I’ve been chalking it up to a young group that is inexperienced… But the time to see growth in this area is here. If they are going to win the division - THEY MUST improve in this way.

Given Bieber still hasn't really gotten back into what he was before his injuries this was a bad loss. Just like against the Royals when they scored 22 runs, then one the next game, you get 12 Friday, then shut out the next day. Always seems to happen. Still can't get to seven over.

I agree. Just saying the other team pitched great is a excuse in my opinion today. The offense helped Bieber out too much. Oh well hopefully the offense shows up tomorrow. Burke needs to continue being the stopper .

As frustrating as it is, I think teams only score a run about 65% of the time in that situation. It’s not a slam dunk.

We won 10 of his first 11 games started. And now we’ve lost 6 of his last 8. I enjoyed those first 11 a lot more.

Runner on third with one out and he is stranded. I really despise that. A fly ball, ground ball, or bunt brings him in and the game is tied. That is something they REALLY need to clean up.

He's been stuck on 9 wins for a while, must be frustrating. 10 is the AL lead.
