The concussion rates in soccer are just as bad

I find this very surprising. Where do you live such that you don't know anyone who has had kids play soccer after age 8? That's certainly not the case in Chicagoland. I'm not saying it's more popular than other sports, but HS soccer is definitely a thing and it's not just for kids who aren't good enough to play other sports.

And let's not forget such "sterling" personalities as Tony Phillips, Albert Belle, Will Cordero, Brett Myers and Omar Vizquel. And of course we've got this from my November 2022 story on the state of the Sox: “You know about Mike Reinold right? (Author’s Note: Reinold is the White Sox Senior Medical Advisor) He was fired by the Red Sox because he was injecting players with Toradol.” (Author’s Note: Bleacher Report had a story on this situation published in February 2013. Here is the link to that story: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1530943-ex-red-sox-trainer-mike-reinold-injected-players-with-controversial-substance) No organization is completely innocent or guilt free. Like I told West we're talking about two different issues i.e. on the field and off the field. I'm really only concerned with what happens on the field. I'm not a social justice warrior or a politician.

To me they can't afford any more serious injuries especially to a thin pitching staff and Getz if he's allowed to has got to get reinforcements for it.

False equivalent. We're talking about two different situations. JR may not be the "worst" as I said but that's no different from being one of the worst in my mind. And yes I'm a piece of work I care about the White Sox, the issues with other teams is not my first concern. Nor is it my second concern or my third concern. As a baseball fan of the White Sox yes not having a good organization, a winning club is worse in my mind then Skaggs' unfortunate situation which was partly his own responsibility. You can send me to hell if you wish, don't really care.

S2 of the Agency was damn good. I agree it's better than S1, but S1 was no slouch.

Good. In a wacky world/scenario where the Sox go outside of the big 3 to cut a deal, give me Tyler Bell or Drew Burress.

Getting back the Saint plus McDougal would add a lot of energy to the staff and would make for quite the July.

San Antonio built a pitch on the site of a golf course they purchased. We practice at the still open driving range and I've been out there a few times watching. I would probably enjoy it more if I really understood the rules. I see way more kids playing soccer than other sports, both when I was in Illinois and now in Texas. Interestingly even in football crazy Texas we see families deciding to not risk their kids brains in football and channel them into other sports. It's predominately at schools with high socio economic status.

Please don't take a high school kid with the #1.

Seems about right. There are still a lot of games to play. This team doesn't feel like they are two steps from disaster.

1) Agreed. My version of rich isn’t Reinsdorf’s. 2) That’s BS. I’ve paid my share already by 46. You should see what gets yanked out of my annual bonuses. I’m likely retiring to WI early on a lake with good fishing, close enough to my boys. Although SS2K5 is making Indiana sound as desirable lately. 3) Agreed. Being “rich” is different to everyone. It’s all perspective. 4) No thanks. I’m good. I’m on pace for my plan for eventual retirement as I sit here at 46 and will be able to leave my two kids with inheritance and fish all day. I just need to avoid being stupid and getting married for a second time. 🤣

And that is another crooked number inning, 9-3 WHITE SOX WINNER
You don’t have to be @wegner to enjoy listening to Hawk rage against the machine, but it does make it even more hilarious.

1) You'll never get rich to that level. 2) If you do, you'll be using way more of our governmental infrastructure than your tax rate accounts for. 3) see #1. 4) Please, remember that I said that. I can set a timer to remind you every single day, if you'd like.

I think the Sox also have like the 3rd easiest schedule left in the AL

Let’s not, and I’ll forget you said that. I aspire to be rich and don’t want to be fucked when I eventually am.

You're described about 26 owners in the game. They all suck. Tax the rich.

Jerry allowed 2 of his GM’s to continue to pay Clevinger millions because he was best buds with an investor’s son.
