  1. Past hour

  2. Wait, you think people are NOT freaking out about Mune?
  3. Dick Allen replied to Whisox05's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Kolson will finish with more strikeouts than points on his batting average. Mune, missing 6 weeks, still has a shot.
  4. One thing the Sox should rethink is the idea that Taylor is their no. 1 prime reliever/ closer. If my memory is correct, last night was his 4th appearance in a row where he’s given up, at least, one run, three home runs and then last night.
  5. Huh? People are freaking out about Mune lol
  6. Jesus Christ. This is not a serious organization. Well, Pham. You're in. Prove yourself right.
  7. From last minute pickup to starting cleanup hitter in the biggest game of the season. 🤣
  8. fathom replied to Whisox05's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Colson should theoretically be around a lot longer than Mune and plays a more important position
  9. I still, still don’t get everyone complaining about Colson and not freaking out about Mune. Four strike outs last night. Mune (yes, and Colson too, but less so) is an absolute anchor on the offense. Other than pitchers, every single Sox player has a better bat right now than Mune, any player on the bench. I’ll go further on that: I believe that every single position player at Charlotte has a better bat than Mune right now. Come on, admit it, weren’t you shocked and surprised at the ONE hard foul ball Mune hit, surprised he actually had good contact? The announcer pointed it out how rare it was. He’s an anchor. We’re trying to win the division. Get him out of the lineup.
  10. HOLY PUCKING PHAM!!!!
  11. he is a terrible pinch hitter.... not sure what he could be used for? Nevermind I see.....
  12. I will say, I’ll take Pham as the 28th man over a third catcher. I wish Thorpe didn’t pitch yesterday and was activated with him though.
  13. This is embarrassing, regardless of what Pham does in the game — good or bad.
  14. Have to average 11.5 mph over that time to get to that ball. Should be a fucking gimme... I am shocked it is only 85%.
  15. May I present to you the greatest mashup of all time.
  16. EVERYBODY GET UP, IT'S TIME FOR PHAM NOW!
  17. I agree but I like the idea of having at leat one starter with prime velocity.
  18. What a joke, both Getz and Venable have really proven how overmatched they are
  19. If the Sox lose and Astros win today, we go from the 2-seed to the 6-seed. So don’t do that.
  20. Supposed to be rain in the area around 1:30.
  21. Would Pham had made that catch last night? If so, a day later as we were out of outfielders to sub in for Sam after Will pinch hit Brayden for Doyle. One of his many questionable moves last night.
  22. I couldn’t take it anymore só started DTF St. Louis. It really sucks when you’re stuck with a loss like that all day and night long and just can’t forget about it by going to sleep. I don’t even think losing Game 3 in 2020 or inevitably falling to the Astros’ machine on the road in 2021 made me that upset. Only the last ten days of 2008…but that had the best ending, ofc, knowing they still weren’t going to win at Tampa without Quentin.
