  1. Past hour
  2. That Nix injury unfortunately makes a Patriots Super Bowl appearance almost guaranteed. I’m strangely optimistic about the Bears today, but seeing what Seattle did, I fear that’s where any luck will end.
  3. I agree it was close and it’s not a shocking ruling, but conceptually hard for me to watch that last INT from broncos and see it as an INT. I don’t like how the stripping of the ball started really post ground contact. It wasn’t like a jump ball scenario, just a “took the ball away on the ground”. But JJ Watt brought up a good point that had he done that (stripped the ball post landing), it had likely been ruled incomplete and we’d probably have agreed. But losing a takeaway there just seems incorrect. Had the ball “bounced” and went into his arms maybe it’s different to me.
  4. $10 million and hefty incentives based on health and performance
  5. I never hear of Sox fans changing, but welcome, just don't flip again.
  6. Today
  7. The league should want the Bears to reach the Super Bowl. It's been a while and our fave team has what TV wants. Great young quarterback to hype like they have done Mahomes. Great rookie tight end like they had with Kelce for years. Interesting coach. Great pass rusher in Booker. Great uniforms and great tradition. It's been a while. TV loved the Packers for a while, now they should be in love with Da Bears. It's time. The Bears are only gonna get better. Would be nice to reach the Super Bowl and see if our QB can reach legend status early in his career. GO BEARS.
  8. That sucks. I remember those travel days and packing and getting to the next city is a nightmare. Those short trips make it too quick.
  9. Crazy thing is I think the Rams are the best matchup to beat Seattle, not the Bears. But they might not make it out of the cold.
  10. so far the favorites have won this weekend, bears gotta buck the trend tomorrow I did not see the Seahawks curb stomping the 49ers though, they're now the heavy favorite to win it all I would imagine
  11. This is just cruel to both teams. Broncos basically have no chance next week and Josh Allen gets knocked out by a team without a QB for the rest of the year.
  12. They made Purdy look slow. Meanwhile Purdy ran circles around the Bears defense.
  13. My Season Ticket rep told me the promo schedule will be released the last week of January, right before Soxfest.
  14. Agreed. Contracts are officially out of this world. It's even seeped into the colleges. The Duke quarterback according to reports getting 5-6 mill to play next year at Miami?
  15. If he were a free agent after this year and put up the same numbers he did last year, you would offer the QO? I have a difficult time saying yes to that question. For some reason this just transported me to the f*** up of not offering Rodon one after a great season. Not that it’s a similar scenario, but just one of the last players who left as a free agent that would be worth offering the QO to.
  16. They look extremely good and probably will win it all imo.
  17. You can kind of see him realize as he is walking away
  18. Obviously not high priority but just because I am curious, anyone know when the Sox will release their promo schedule?
  19. Second to last play according to Sean Payton.
  20. insane news about Bo Nix, how the f..... just how?
  21. Man this hurts. Even victory is defeat sometimes.
  22. The odds of both teams not doing anything in each possession in a 30-30 game are very low. You always defer.
  23. That's not a winning strategy if it goes to a 3rd possession. I knew the reason why they deferred, but that's just too risky. The 9ers didn't defer in their last super bowl, and were criticised for it, but they actually made a good decision since it could have backfired like it did Buffalo tonight.
  24. And the clock finally struck midnight for us. That's brutal to lose him on the kneel down play. It was a great run this year. Sad it had to end this way.
  25. Yeah, I was, way back in the 80s when I was a kid. Lots of former cub fans here. People do change, ya know, especially from boyhood to adulthood. as a kid, 97.9 The Loop played "yucky old guy music". It eventually became one of my fav stations, I never missed Gettin the Led Out. Change happens, few people are the same person they were decades ago, bud.
