I know Dominguez didn't pitch today or yesterday, but damn that is an epic fail to sign a guy to be your closer and he isn't used at any point in a pretty important game. Just damn.

What you can’t do, is worry about public reaction to whatever you do. Do your due diligence and make the best call. Nobody will give you free credit for taking the wrong guy just because it was an easier sell to the crowd.

They’ve also limited his arsenal

6 runs allowed in last three appearances against CLE...not good. That's just one week. Fastball too straight and gets in trouble when not getting curve over the plate and falling behind in counts.

It was phenominal, I said it at the time actually. And and the same time I said they havent played great baseball recently, which I stand by. Its actually possible to enjoy the season (which I have been immensely) and still be able to recognize this isnt a great team and they will be fortunate to win the division, but still can. Its not rocket science.

Eisert sucks I’ll give you that, but Taylor is fucking incredible and one bad inning doesn’t change that. Nothing about tonight screams unfinished product.

Davis Martin was awful leaving way too many innings for the pen to cover in the first game of a four game series. Taylor's final pitch was predictable - Roccio was all over it. That was a rough one my friends...

You literally do nothing but come up with ways to s%*# on this team. I don’t like telling people how to fan, but I have no idea why you follow this team when all you constantly do is look for the negative in a surprising, amazingly fun season.

Roch will need more swing fixes, Grady Emerson seems like he has the perfect swing given he's coming out of HS, not many adjustments need to be made from what I've heard, his defense isn't close to Roch though.

I hope they play it safe with murakami, outside of the occasional 1 or 2 run outing where they look flat, the issue all year has been pitching and nobody you can trust late in games
