  2. Mogollon at #10 seems way off. Will have lots of different takes in terms of the respective values of Hagen Fauske Prosek Thome and Carlson. Fauske can play CF? While Fauske has some experience behind the plate and some scouts thought he might be the best catching prospect in the 2025 Draft, he doesn't want to play there, and the White Sox plan on developing him as a full-time outfielder. They'd rather maximize his bat and athleticism, and they think he has solid speed and instincts to possibly stick in center field. They've also put him on a throwing program to help boost his average arm strength. 2025 Scouting grades: Hit: 55 | Power: 50 | Run: 55 | Arm: 50 | Field: 50 | Overall: 50 baseballsavant.comJaden Fauske Stats: Statcast, Visuals & Advanced MetricsJaden Fauske Stats: Statcast, Visuals & Advanced Metrics
  3. I think Thome was happening no matter what. The whole world knew it. Guessing this fit his slot bonus better, and their intel was that Thome might not make it to 41 (Yankees at 35) while Prosek would. Prosek DID make it through.

  5. Thanks. I saw Law’s ranking and figured it was more split among the evaluators. Didn’t realize nobody else had Thome ahead.

  8. Ishbia's private equity company has a contingent contract to purchase the rail yard in Pilsen on the East side of the canal. He is seeking a Federally backed loan to relocate that yard. Not sure whether the ISFA , owner of the Rate Field parking lots, is all in on a land swap with Amtrak, at least not that I am aware of. That would be a first step to relocating the rail yard to Bridgeport. That, and the Federally backed loan.
  9. Yea this is like his third or fourth truly embarrassing post that went viral.
  10. https://247sports.com/college/ucla/article/ucla-baseball-2026-mlb-draft-ten-bruins-taken-including-cholowsky-no-1-288294674/ Levu is definitely the guy we should have picked for 1B/DH. 85-90% sure he will outproduce Landon Thome in terms of big league fWAR. Marlins' Rintaro Sasaki has huge MLB, NPB decision to mak...He's got a familiar last name, and some incredible fam.
  11. The only way Mune will (for sure) get that money is if a $125-135ish million MLB payroll floors instituted...

  14. If it were up to you they would never make a trade
  15. None of those Mune related revenue have been finalized as Japanese corporate sponsors await his long-term destination. TV ratings in Japan and Sox merchandising are largely shared revenues across all thirty teams, except for those sold through the ballpark/team store.
  16. I'll at least say it's not out of the question that they'll extend him. First there's all the extra revenue that Boyer says they're bringing in thanks to him. Do they really want to give that up in another season and a half? Then there's also the Ishbia factor. With ownership transfer on the horizon and Ishbia already having a minority stake in the team, it's not out of the question that the Sox would be more willing to sign him to a long-term deal than I would have believed in the past.
  17. Prosek is largely considered the better prospect. I think Law is the only one who has Thome ahead of him.
  18. I also enjoyed it. It’s nitpicking but I would add another 5 swings per player just because I thought it was a little too quick, but overall I thought it was a lot better.
  19. Why is that interesting? Are you saying Prosek is the better prospect?
  20. Need a roommate? Bunk beds or queen size bed? I’ll let you choose…
  21. You are right but isn’t this a bit different? Other than working for The Score, Levine is also a baseball analyst for Marquee Sports Network and gets paid by them. This is technically like an office worker accidentally publicly stating that his/her CEO is a moron.
  22. Absolutely hilarious how Krusty the Clown has been using Twitter/X for years now and still doesn’t seem to understand how it works.

  24. Not entirely fair. Ryan Fuller has built a hitting program very different from the group who tried to help Kath.
  25. I think just about everyone is happily eating Getz crow. That dude is proving to be a straight up G.
  26. Sorry for jumping ahead but this roster is in a really good place already for 2027 and for years beyond. If there's no stoppage and Roch is ready for the show, just how does the roster look? If Acuna keeps ascending, it's going to be really hard to not keep him around, esp with his PR ability. I imagine they let Grichuk & Hays go but also have Pereira, Baldwin, & Perez waiting in the OF/DH wings. Time will tell, but what a sweet problem to have. So friggin exciting to be a Sox fan so soon after such an embarrassing horror show! I can't even begin to apologize to Getz for my very bad take on his hiring! I haven't been this wrong about a sports decision ever!
