“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
It is possible Jerry is full of it, as I remember it being him as the source, but it was definitely out there in the ether in the past.

They turn Sears into a Willis tonight. Sox win comfortably.

Gotcha. I don’t think it’s impossible that Bridgeport shot down a development, but its always seemed like a bit of an urban legend to me. If there were ever publicly released plans, I’d very much like to see what was proposed for the area.

This was what was in my head when I mentioned before that Bridgeport didn't seem to want this.- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
Go with (lefty on the mound): C Teel 1B Mune 2B Ant 3B Vargas SS Chase LF Grichuk CF Doyle (hit him 9th) RF Peters DH Pham Acuna and Braden can enter the game later for defense. I'll figure out how to line them up shortly haha- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
Don't like their chances tonight. Another pitiful offensive performance saved by a Murakami blast. Hopefully Murakami gets hot. Prove me wrong, losers.- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
They should just move it to earlier.- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
Tonight is an important game in this series. If you win tonight then you are set up nicely to take 3 of 4 OR even sweep. On top of that we are facing a rookie who has 16 innings under his belt. We need to hit this kid around. It was great to see Mune have a good game yesterday......let's see if he can build on yesterday.- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
Oh boy a day night DH during a bears home game will be all kinds of “don’t drive into the city on Sunday” lol- Weather/schedule for this weekend.
I'm seeing possible heavy rain sat until sunday afternoon. Will there be a game on monday? Is this good or bad?- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
I’ve heard of this once before, but I never found an article about it. Got a source? I’d love to read more about it.Today

I am shocked. Shocked I tell you.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
They leave out that in the late 00s he tried to develop but was turned away. It’s one of the reasons he didn’t renew the lease unless he was going to get a sweetheart deal again. Jerry is in Real Estate. He’s developing the land around the UC. Think about that- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
Amtrak has plans for ISFA, White Sox parking lots - Sox M...Amtrak released new designs of its planned maintenance facility in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. But it requires access through a state-owned parking lot.Sox Machine article summarizing meetings/takeaways from the last 48 hours. Also answers why the area was never were developed akin to Wrigleyville: As per usual, it’s Reinsdorf’s fault.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
He did not, unfortunately. There was allegedly a representative from Canal Edge, but Alderman Lee’s source must have been mistaken.- Upcoming Tigers series, not a gamethread
Wonder if they would consider moving Wash-Det to Thursday, so Sox-Tigers can finish Monday. But it’s possible they can get in two on Sunday.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
See, Tray is right.- Upcoming Tigers series, not a gamethread
Weather looks pretty dicey Sat & Sun. Detroit does not have an off day like us on Monday. https://www.nbcchicago.com/weather/soaking-wet-stormy-rainy-weekend-ahead-for-chicago-area-severe-weather-possible/3990714/- What Broke Mune?
When I saw he homered I looked up the video just to check. Our eyes do not deceive us.- 9/18 Tigers @ White Sox, 6:40
Wonder if tomorrows game will be moved from 6 to 1 or if they’ll take their chances with a DH Sunday- What Broke Mune?
Good post. I still think it's primarily the mental strain of his first MLB season. Hopefully last night sparks the big turnaround.- Grant Taylor and Hagen Smith Starters next year?
I see it the other way. Smith historically really falls off after the first couple innings (stuff and location). I believe Taylor has a better chance for success as a starter and could very well be one of the best in baseball. He's at 80 innings so you'd think 140ish would be reasonable next year- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
And Ishbia doesn't own the team, by law.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
