Don’t mind it. If you’re going to have a non-hitting OF in lineup you might as well upgrade the defense

Lots of rain heading towards Cleveland, don't know if they get this one in or not.

For someone who loves to cry about woke, you are pretty damned fragile in here yelling at anyone who offends you, which happens all the time.- The trade deadline is the only reason the Sox haven't won this yet/the Guardians are still in it
Some of the defensive shifts by the Sox in this series have had me scratching my head quite often,- Fire Chris Getz
The thing is, even if the Sox fired Getz (which they absolutely will not and should not after he took this team for 102 losses to the ALDS) is anyone confident that Jerry would hire someone more competent? We could very well end up with someone who does a poorer job. The trade deadline was a total failure, but he did get us Peters, Vargas, Keel, Braden, and Meidroth. The reality is, the best bet is probably to let Getz continue as GM until Ishbia takes over and then the new ownership group can re-evaluate at that time. Fire him under JR and it'll just be another chance for someone in the organization to fail upward.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
Seriously, an honest mistake as I thought I was responding to Jake’s post. This site sometimes confuses me as I’m an old fart.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
One could say it’s gone off the rails. :rimshot: 🥁- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
You have to correct a post using emojis? Good fucking god, this place. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏿♂️ *This post was approved, in part, by the woke police and has a sensitivity rating of 67.8.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
I just found myself pausing the radio on my phone once an inning and it both worked out well and was easy to fix. Well worth the hassle to avoid Darling and his sidekick.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
Luck is a good thing but Burke and the hitting have to rise to the occasion.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
COLSON - HE’S LOOKIN AT YOU KID!!!- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
Destiny. Acuna, today’s your day. 😆 On another note - Wind and humidity favor going out to right and will knock balls in the air down to left.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
BURKE AND PSYCHO SAM! PS - What uni’s you think they’re going to sport? Gotta go back to black threads, I imagine.- Fire Chris Getz
Very excited to see what this first LatAm class looks like, assuming the signing period actually happens. I thought someone here said that it may not.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
It's the 5 year anniversary- Fire Chris Getz
I agree with all of this. I don't know if a lockout affects this, but January's International class will be David Keller's first fully recruited signing class. It would be nice to see the system get a jolt from that department.- ALDS - Game 5 - Deciding Game - Sat 10/10 - 7PM Ct
You're right, AntMan. Seems like the radio is about 30 seconds ahead of the TV video, so hearing the action before you see it becomes kind of a spoiler.- Schriffen: "It's been an amazing three years". Implies that them calling Sox games together is over. Could Stone be on his way out?
My wife has been a "fan" of the Sox since we met almost 15 years ago, but really started locking in toward the latter part of the 2025 season. She's at the point of being able to call out what Steve is going to say before he says it even with not that much time listening to him. I see that as a sign of Steve losing his fastball. Running out of things to say, repeating himself a lot. His old nemesis Hawk used to be accused of being able to be reduced to a soundboard as well, although Hawk could always surprise you (not necessarily in a good way, depending on your taste).- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
And scared to go downtown.- “The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
