Don't get serious. It sounds like there are a lot of roadblocks (time apart, distance, etc.). Just play it loose and see what happens, if anything.

Family trip to Disney, a couple of Sox games, one Cubs game, U2 at Soldier Field, lots of time at the local water park with the kid, and my wife is seeing Journey and maybe Pearl Jam. I'm sure there will be more, but that's what we have on the schedule right now.

I hate all things Boston (stupid baked beans...), but I love the Bruins. I don't know why, exactly - probably because they were really good when I was a kid and I've always liked their uniforms.

The Loudness show at Reggie's last night was great! Akira Takasaki is a guitar master and the band was having a lot of fun onstage. Dirty Passion and Sister Sin were very good as well. Pipe was way too "Alice In Chains" for my liking, and Hessler just sucked. The hot blonde singer wearing almost nothing was the only worthwhile thing about their set.
