I remember reading an article some time back about all the different things they were trying with Colson. Different mindsets, approaches, swing decisions, focus, and the like and my initial thought was that they were overwhelming him with too much. I stand by that. And feel like it routinely happens with this organization all the way back to Beckham.

Beckham made a good point. Enough of this one day in the lineup one out for Teel and Quero. They're never gonna get red hot if you keep interrupting their rhythm. Their lineup is better when they're both there. Let them play.

This whole thing is the biggest indictment I've seen on sox scouting. You can have all the talent in the world but if you assemble an abundance of weak minded head cases this what you get. This rebuild doesn't appear to have the "talent" of the last but at the very least I feel like these are some dedicated young guys. That being said this rebuild still sucks so far.

There were, and still are, and abundance of issues with this franchise. But good God Pedro Grifol might actually be the worst manager in MLB history without exaggeration.

I wouldn't say rushed him to the bigs. He was ready. Putting him in the spotlight in the 3 hole because his approach is better than most in the lineup? That may have pushed it. However watching how he has adjusted at each level i feel like he's following the same path here. When he heats up i expect the power to start to pop up too.
