  1. Fire them both. Bring in Kim Ng and Skip Schumacher.
  2. I'd have to look on the website somewhere when I get a minute but yes I was aware of it as well.
  3. To be honest this is usually where they're most competent. I've had some folks I've played with over the years work for them. Usually good Baseball people, good with kids.
  4. Wow! We tried to get our kids into it but there were no slots left. And when you tried to use the website to get on a standby list it just froze so we gave up. Glad we did. My son loves this team regardless of their record if they did that to him there'd be hell to pay. I hope the families effected let them hear it.
  5. Well said. And I hope at some point that message gets to him.
  6. Raffle it off to a fan. And watch them do a better job.
  7. D - Only avoiding an F because he did make trades and didn't do nothing. The moves were mostly bad, save for getting rid of Eloy. And the only way out of this mess into any kind of relevance is going to be spending money on competent, major league ballplayers. Which they won't do, so I really see no hope.
  8. Riordan is as big a piece of s%*# as Grifol, so grain of salt here. But nobody should be surprised that Pedro would say something this ignorant and stupid. I will take the smallest amount of pleasure in the fact that in Baseball history, Pedro Grifol will go down as one of the worst managers of all time.
  9. Hard to feel like it's anything else honestly.
  10. If that's the case, with the Fedde trade this deadline will be almost as big a disaster as the historically bad season.
  11. I wouldve taken Norby for Fedde straight up and been happy.
  12. I've heard lazy and uninspired from a handful of Dodger fans.
  13. ? The Chris Getz experience has been far worse than anticipated.....and nobody had high expectations.
  14. Either way this is fucking horrendous and we can now confirm Getz is as bad as we feared. This deadline might do it for me if this is how it's gonna go.
  15. What comes first? His 90th win or his 200th loss?
  16. No, no, no. Imagine he wants to stay. Imagine he genuinely wants an extension and the powers that be low balled the hell out of him. And now if a new team takes him and wears him down in the post season he has little financial security if an injury pops up. Sox had an opportunity to work with him, they chose to sell and he took care of himself. He'd get a standing ovation from me if I dared enter that park.
  17. Pedro doesn't need a closer unless it's Dennis Eckersley.
